Assemble

Zoe and Steve made it to the Conference room to see the team there. Nat, Thor, and Bruce were sitting around the table. Tony was at the back of room looking at the Screen with a map. Zoe saw movement in the corner and looked to see Clint Barton standing leaning against the wall staring at her. Zoe hadn't meet Clint since he was out on a mission for the past couple weeks since she had arrived. "So this is her? This is your actual sister Stark" asked Barton. Tony turned around from the screen "Yes Legolas this is my sister Zoe who has been in another reality till a few weeks ago" replied Tony.

Clint turn to Zoe "So is it true that in the other reality where you were we are just movie and comic characters that's what Nat told me" asked Clint. "Yes, you are so amazing and so badass ass well" answered Zoe. Clint smiled at that "So how many Hawkeye movies are there?"  he asked. Zoe kinda of winced at the question "Umm none but... you do have your own mini series on Disney+ one of my favorite series I have watched it several times" answered Zoe. "What the hell is Disney+?" asked Tony. Zoe laughed "Umm well it's a streaming service that Disney has that has most of their movies like the classics and the Princesses they own other franchises like Stars Wars and Marvel" answered Zoe. Clint narrowed his eyes "Great now I am a Disney Princess" he snapped. Zoe laughed at the statement "Well Merida, you do qualify you have preformed many Heroic deeds just like Mulan" said Zoe grinning ear to ear. This made Clint get a huge grin "Oh I like her, She totally can hold her own" said Clint.

Tony cleared his throat "As fun as it is to hear how fabulous we are in the other reality I think we need to focus on why we are all assembled here today" said Tony firmly. "Sparkles here brought us back info that we think will lead us finding Barnes and bringing him back" said Tony pulling up a Map on the screen. "It seems Zoe was correct and he is located in Siberia now we need a plan to recover him and a place to secure him as well" said Tony. Both Steve and Zoe looked confused "What do you mean secure him?" asked Zoe warily. Steve slapped his hands on the table and stood up quickly "Your going to lock him  like a caged animal hasn't he already been locked up off and on for the past 70 years Tony no that's not happening" yelled Steve.  Zoe stood up as well "Tony please don't tell me that's what you are planning on doing?" asked Zoe with a pleading look. Tony looked down as he saw the look his sister was giving him and sighed. "Look we are only precautions...we don't know what state of mind he will be in and also we don't want Hydra finding out where he is" said Tony cautiously.

Steve shook his head "I am going to be with him no matter what" said Steve. Tony looked at Steve and nodded "Of course Spangles that's a given" replied Tony. "Where is this safe house going to be" asked Nat. Tony turned to the screen moved some things around to show the location which made Zoe gasp "Utah". Everyone's heads turned and looked at her "Do know the area of this Utah Little Bolt" asked Thor. Zoe nodded "Yes my grandparents were from there and I would spend most of my summers there" answered Zoe. Nat looked at Zoe and smiled " Do you know the area well?" asked Nat. Zoe looked up at the screen nodded "My grandparents lived south from there but they would take me too the Amusement Park that isn't too far from there so I know it a little bit but not super well" replied Zoe. Nat nodded then turn to Tony " Maybe once we secure him and get everything settled we can have Zoe come and help out" said Nat. Zoe's eyes widened at the suggestion and Tony shook his head "Hell no my sister isn't going anywhere near this mission or any mission for that matter I am not putting her at risk" snapped Tony shaking his head vigorously.

Zoe was surprised by Nat's suggestion and smiled at Tony reaction. "Tony she knows the area but no one will know her so she can go out and not be noticed like the rest of us and she knows what Bucky went through so she can help that way as well" responded Nat. Tony sighed and closed his eyes as he sat down in a near by chair. "I just got her back and now you want her to go on some mission that can put her in danger no I can't have that" said Tony tensely. "We will keep her safe and I really think she is ready she has taken to the fight training super well like she was born for it" said Nat giving Zoe a wink. "Of course Little Bolt is a natural look at her mother and grandfather some of the best warriors out there and her magic is rather amazing I think this the perfect first mission for her" said Thor happily. Zoe started to blush at all the praise which she certainly wasn't use to.

Tony let out a frustrating sigh "Okay whose going to protect her if Mr. Barnes goes all Winter Solider and attacks she could get hurt" snapped Tony. Zoe sighed "Tony the only way to activate the Winter Soldier is using nine words in Russian which I have given to Nat" replied Zoe. Steve who was sitting next to Zoe turned to her "Well Zoe what are these words since you are all knowing" snapped Steve. Zoe turned her head to look him in the eyes "I think it's best if only Nat and I know the less people who do the better" replied Zoe firmly. "Why is that Zoe don't you trust us?" asked Clint crossing his arms in front of him. "Yes Barton but until those words no longer have power over Bucky it's best not a lot people no just in case things like or people like Loki try to take over our minds which I am sure you know all to well right Barton?" asked Zoe with an raised eyebrow.

Clint nodded "The little Goddess has a point" he responded. Steve who had been quiet for the pass few minutes finally spoke "So Nat will use the words and make him comply and turn him into a mindless soldier?"asked Steve. Zoe shook her head "No I don't think so the words are needed when he is being woken up from Cyrosleep in the movies Hydra uses the words to activate the Winter Soldier the words should only be used at the very last resort" replied Zoe who looked Steve directly in the eyes hoping he would understand. Steve stared back they were so close he could see that her eyes weren't fully brown but had flecks of gold and green in them. His heart started to race and he looked down at her rosy colored lips and licked his slightly and then looked back into her eyes which the gold seem to glow like sunshine in the early afternoon on bright spring day. A clearing of someone's throat brought both Steve and Zoe back reality and the both turned to see everyone staring at them Nat and Clint were smirking and Thor just winked at them. Bruce just looked embarrassed but Tony was glaring at Steve " Well now if the two lovebirds are done getting lost into each other's eyes let's focus on the rest of the mission" said Tony with annoyed tone. Zoe blushed deeply "TONY" she gasped. Tony just rolled his eyes and turned the screen in front of him. Steve also blushed and gave Zoe a side eyed glance and saw the deep blush of her cheeks she was refusing to look at him it made him smirk a little knowing he had that effect on her. A sharp pain in his left leg made him jump a little he looked across the table to see Nat smirking at him and Clint making kissing faces at him he rolled his eyes and shook his head to focus on Tony.

Zoe made it back to her room after the meeting to get away from everyone especially her brother who had been in a rather grumpy mood since it was decided that she would help out on this mission and really snapped at Steve as he watched her leaving the room he gave her a small smile that made her not notice the large window that she walked right into then rush out the door before anyone could react. She shook her head in embarrassment at Tony's comment calling her and Steve lovebirds and then being distracted and walking into the glass. Then she remembered that moment when her and Steve had looked into each other's eyes it felt like there was no one else in the room only her and him. The way he looked at her was different then he had ever had before. No it's all in my head there is nothing between them...well at least not on his side... his heart would always belong to HER. Thought Zoe bitterly knowing that in the end that Steve would always choose Peggy Carter and it was best if she didn't let her heart open to the possibility of heartbreak in the end.
