i woke up this morning with a pit in my stomach, i immediately knew pike had won the election, and had mascaraed an army that was sent to help us. i almost want to cry. my friend, mentor, and teacher indra was a part of that army. i can only hope and pray that she is alive.

i got out of bed and got dressed. jasper wasn't there when i woke up, i assume he was on guard early this morning.

i walked through the quarters and out to the main lands, as i walk out i see pike and his men walking in through the gates, covered in blood. i ran over to kane and abby. "my god, look at them" abby says in horror.

i watch as octavia goes over to bellamy, but he only speaks for a quick second, before continuing his walk. pike has them close the gate,

"all right everybody, listen up." he calls everyone's attention, as he hops up on a tree stump, "24 hours ago, you elected me your chancellor, and every action I've taken since then, and every action will take, is too achieve one sacred goal. the creation of a self sustaining, prosperous and safe Arkadia." everyone cheers for him, "this morning, on the muddy field, our people payed tribute to those who have been taken from us by sending a message to the grounders. this landis ours now!" everyone once again cheers, "resist and you will be met by force! fight and you will be greeted by death!"

i tune out pike, not having the energy to sit here and listen to him. it doesn't take long for pike to shut the fuck up, "no wounded." i point out, "10 against 300 and there's no wounded. how is that possible?"

after the conundrum of this morning, i hung out in medical, helping abby with the grounder patients. as im filling up a water bag, or Danae's IV, kane walks in, "artemus, can we talk?"

i nod, "yeah, just give me two seconds" i close the bag and hand it off to jackson.

i follow kane out of medical and down the hall, "is it true you and jasper snuck out of camp yesterday?"

"look, no offense Kane, but dont we have more important things to worry about than whose sneaking out of camp?"

we slip through a red curtain like thing, "as it turns out, that's why you're here." we stop, "indra signaled, she wants to meet." i look back and forth at the entrances, "i'd go myself, but pike's watching everything i do now."

he pulls out my beloved sword, that indra had gifted me, "you want me to go see indra?"

i take the sword,

"i need you to."

"i'm in, but how do i get out? the gate is guarded, and i dont think i could get out the way i did without getting cau-" he opens the wall, and i smirk.

i walk towards it, looking in to the dark wall.

"crawlspace door in 20 feet drops you outside the camp wall. you get out there, find out what the hell happened and report back here. can you do that? "

i give him a smirk, and turn into the wall, and turn back to him, "i was born for this." the PA comes on, and he shuts the latch behind me.

i held my sword in my hand as i walked steadily up the mountain. i reach the top and the smell of decomposing bodies fulfills me, i look around at the trikru soldiers in horror.

once i found the tent, i slipped through the entrance. i immediately heard Clarke's voice, "Artemus? Where's Kane?"

"He sent me." i walk towards them, and on a bed i see Indra, in supple pain. i crouch down to her, "Indra. Thank god."
