For the past few days, I've been using my shifts on guard to hang out Monty. Jasper made us apologize to each other.

I had a 6am shift on guard, and now i'm in medical with Abby. We surprisingly didn't have very many patients this morning, just the usual check-ups and small injuries.

it is now, 9:29, which means i have to meet Kane, Miller, and Harper in one minute. I run through the halls as quickly and quietly as i can, finally making it to the door. I open it, and shut it quickly, and then i catch my quaky breath.

It doesn't take long for Pike's voice to come through the radio, we all stay quiet as we listen to him.

It turns out, this morning, Lexa sent her army to enforce a blockade. I don't know who's idea it was, but it was good. Either someone in this camp is gonna take Pike out, or give him up to the grounders.

"what about breaking the blockade?" Hannah speaks with hesitation in her voice.

"After Bellamy's theatrics this morning, they'll be expecting that." Pike says, and i can tell Bellamy has that ripe look on his face, (ya'll know). "Regardless, we can't engage the grounder's, until we have our own people under control and that starts with Kane. I need you to suspend all access to the prisoners." pike speaks directly to someone, most likely Bellamy, "No contact with anyone in camp. For all we know, they're passing information about grounder villages."

as we listen in, me and Harper give each other a look, an unreadable look. it kinda gives off an anxious vibe. i look at Kane, and you can see the anxiety and anticipation on his face.

I turned my attention back to Pike on the radio, "Now, we can't afford any more assumptions about who's a friend and who isn't. Not your oldest accomplice. Not your husband, wife, or lover. We're fighting two wars now. And the more dangerous one is here, inside this camp. We can't prove it yet, but Kane and his accomplices passed information to Octavia." I look at Harper, worry in my eyes, "i know none of you signed up to investigate your neighbors. But Monroe and Lecroix died because the traitors in this camp sold them out to the grounders. Whoever did that will be hunted down and exposed for what they did to their own, for what they did to us. Now, you get whatever resources, whatever personnel you need, to make that happen. dismissed."

Oh, great, now he's trying to turn us against each other. I push the button that turns off the radio, with anger. "If they're gonna play that game, we need to play it too." Kane says,

"Meaning?"

"We don't meet here again for starters. We change our patterns, forget our habits, take a different route through camp every time we go out. Artemus, you'll have to flip-flop shifts. Assume there are eyes on us at all times."

"Or, we can just shock lash pikes fascist ass and hand him to the grounders." Anger lingers in my voice as I speak,

"That would be murder. Not to mention treason." Kane nears me, "And that's not who we are."

"Maybe it's who we need to be." Miller agrees with me.

Kane shakes his head, "Not yet."

"All right, then what's the plan?"

as i walked into the mess hall, i see Jasper arguing with Sinclair, "What do you mean there's no more alcohol? What kind of a bartender are you?"

"First off, I'm not a bartender."

"You can say that again."

Sinclair starts packing up the moonshine, "Second, according to Pike's order, all resources are to be rationed until the grounder blockade is lifted. That means food."
