"oh my god. stop. no way."
someone's voice seeps into the air- weaving through the quietness and disrupting whatever sort of dream that he had fallen into. easily pushing him back into consciousness. persuading and encouraging him to be fully awake once again.
he takes in a deep long breath and flutters his eyes back open- watching as all the blurred bright lights blind him for a little second; utterly forgetting where he was for a moment- confused and scared at the same time.
he stretches gently- feeling the warmth that had surrounded him. the blankets piled on top of him with a pillow that he was tightly hugging.
he begins to yawn softly- expanding and reclining further as he feels the back of his head brush against something. smooth like a hoodie. gentle as the breaths of a stomach rise and barely fall.
his body suddenly stiffens; now fully snapping into awareness. feeling how there were a pair of legs underneath him- holding his head as a substitute pillow. planted like a statue and frozen for his own comfort.
he glances upwards; realizing his position. stationed on the younger's lap. trailing his gaze around to look straight at the person that was stationed above him.
immediately he is greeted with a face that was intensely staring at the television screen- his mouth curved into a tight straight lined; his words seeming pleased, though his expressions were utterly disturbed.
yeonjun smiles as the sight. blinking in how immersed soobin was focused on the show. more engrossed than yeonjun himself as ever been.
he didn't think that as he picked out something with so little care- completely positive that soobin would either get bored half way through or beg to change it- that he would actually enjoy it.
and yet, here he was: sitting on the edge of his seat and talking to himself. as if he was actually experiencing what was happening behind the screen.
yeonjun couldn't help but let his tiny smirk grow even bigger- so satisfied that soobin had now found his new joy, "what did i miss?"
his voice was still in its sleepy state; sounding so deep and tired. pushing out so gently and smoothly that it barely makes it above the speakers.
soobin looks down at him quickly, staring for a little moment before instantly pulling his gaze back to the screen- too occupied on the yelling that was now arising, "i can't you believe you slept through it. she's getting remarried to him. like.. excuse me? haven't you learned your lesson? he cheated on you four times. even with your sister. and she's pregnant! and now the wedding is so stressful and she can't make up her mind. this is crazy. i feel so bad for them."
yeonjun laughs along; bathing in his ravishing words- sounding like he truly was dedicated to what kept him stuck on his butt for hours. "that's crazy."
soobin nods, looking back down at yeonjun, "i know! there's been so much fighting and crying and this one girl.. she threw a cake. like a big fucking cake. it was insane."
yeonjun chuckles, "really?"
"really." he says with wide eyes.
yeonjun nods along and pushes out another stretch- watching how soobin seems to study him with profound adoration; taking in how the elder shuts his eyes and lets out a tiny groan. shaking off the lingering drowsiness.
"how long was i out?"
"like forever. i finished a whole two seasons without you."
yeonjun eyes him with surprise, "two whole seasons? without me?"
