Drama Rises

Chapter 1

*a few hours later*

We just got done with the sponge bob shows that were on and Brayden was getting upset. I handed him to Lew and he got him to calm down. Then there was a knock at the door, I went to the door and I opened it and it was my Aunt Melanie, she had all of Brayden's stuff in the car, the car was stuffed with stuff. She didn't have a small car, she had a big van, and it was stuffed with baby stuff. We got all of it inside and my Aunt Melanie took off. Me and Lew were left to set everything up and put everything where it goes, just then I get a text, it was Amber.

Amber: hey sis, what's going on up there?
Me: sorry my aunt just dropped off my baby cousin and he is upset and me and Lew are setting everything up and putting stuff where it goes.
Amber: oh ok.
Me: yea. If you want you can come up here, the door is unlocked.
Amber: on my way.

I put my phone back in my pocket and I heard amber yell to her mom that she's going to visit me. She ran up here and she came into my apartment and she quickly closed the door remembering that Miya will run like hell if she sees the door open.

"Hey Amber." I said. I picked Brayden up and I walked over to her.

"Hey Heather. And what is this little guy's name?" She replied.

"This is Brayden, he is my cousin." I told her. Just then the door to my apartment opens and Xman walks in, he closes the door and walks over to the couch and sits down. "Haha don't mind him Amber. He comes over here a lot."

"Why does he come over here a lot?" She asked me.

"Because he is my friend and I told him he is welcome here anything that the door is unlocked but if it is locked and it's an emergency I told him where my spare key is." I told her. This made her mad because she lives right below me and even she isn't welcome any time. She has to text or call me and ask me of it's ok. And she doesn't like Xman. She hates him. She got up and walked out, she ran down the steps and went into her apartment and slammed the door behind her. "Hey Xman. Have a good day so far?"

"Hey. Yea I did have a good day so far. Now hey I have a question." He replied.

"Ok. What's your question?" I asked.

"What's with the baby and baby stuff?" Xman asked.

"The baby is her cousin, his name is Brayden. Brayden's mom dropped him and all of this stuff off earlier. His mom left for Florida like other people in her family have." Lew told him.

"Oh. Wow." Xman replied.

"Yea. So can you hold Brayden so me and Lew can get this stuff set up and put away? Because he knows how I think and he doesn't need to ask where stuff goes because he already knows where everything goes." I asked.

"Sure." Xman said. I handed Brayden to him then me and Lew got to work. Xman sat on the couch with Brayden and Miya the whole time me and Lew were setting the stuff up and putting it away.

It took us about an hour maybe more to get it all set up and to put it all where it belongs. After that we say down on the couch and I put Brayden on my lap, and I put my legs on Lew's lap. We had to out Miya in my mom's old room because she wouldn't stop barking no matter what we did. We brought her outside to go to the bathroom, we played with her, we gave her food, and other stuff. After a while of sitting there watching cartoons, there was a knock at the door. I told the boys I would get it so I was still holding Brayden when I went up to the door, I put him to my side and I was still holding him on my right side and my right arm was holding him up. I opened the door and it was Lew's mom.

"Oh hey!" I said.

"Hey. Lew is still here right?" She asked me.

"Yea. Him and Xman are sitting on the couch over there." I told her as I pointed to the couch.

"Ok. Also who's baby is that? He is so adorable!"

"His is my cousin, his name is Brayden. My aunt dropped him off so she could go to Florida with most of my family. She has three boys all together but she didn't want to have to take all three because my uncle isn't going with her so it would be her and three boys and all three boys are under the age of seven."

"Oh ok."

"Yea... so come on in."

"Uh.. I won't be here long, I just need to talk to Lew for a minute outside." Lew walked outside and he closed the door behind him. I went over to the couch and I sat by Xman and I put Brayden on my lap and we went back to the cartoons. The show was ending by the time she had gotten here, by the time she left two shows had ended already. Lew was out there talking to his mom and they've been out there for quite a while... I hope he doesn't come back pissed off or upset. but eventually he did come back.

"So what do you want to talk about Xman?" I asked.

"Your depression." Xman replied.
