Harry's POV

My rescheduled shows are around the corner, sort of, it's soon enough for me, and I am so excited to be back on stage in LA soon. I felt terrible in canceling the 3 shows but I am so glad I am able to perform for my fans eventually. I definitely needed the rest and I am ready to be back on that stage performing.

I begin thinking about how excited I am and how excited I know my fans will be. It means the world they were willing to wait for me to get better and still come.
My thoughts are interrupted.

*Ring ring* It's Jeff, my manager. "Hello?"

"Hey Harry! We need to chat, you have a moment?"

"Sure what's up?" I ask as it seems there is an urgency to this.

"So, it seems the rumor of the split between you and Olivia is circling more and more around social media" He states matter of factly.

"Uh... not really a rumor but alright your point?"

"Well it's not looking good, you are looking like the bad guy here, we gotta do some damage control".

What does he mean I look like the bad guy? It was hardly a public relationship as it was and certainly not that public of a breakup. Am I the bad guy for simply not wanting to be in the relationship anymore?

"We need to get you scheduled for an interview so you can talk about it and clear the air a little"

"Clear the air? About what?" I ask concerned as to how this has flipped into a bad story about me.

"About the reason for the breakup. People seem to think you broke up with her since you got the publicity from her movie and could care less about her now; it's looking like you used her. I already talked to Olivia and she agreed it would just be best if you mention that with all the press from the movie wrapping up you lost time for each other and decided to end it, mutually. You are good friends that you both just happened to fall in love at a convenient time and time is no longer on your side. So how does Saturday morning sound, radio interview?"

"Whoa what? Slow down" My head is spinning. "That's not why we broke up though"
You see, things got too messy with her ex-husband and she willingly admitted that she was still in love with him. She wanted to work on our relationship, but I was hurt too much and was tired of the constant arguments.

"I know that, but the world doesn't know that and so for the sake of both of your reputations, just clear the air" He says as if it's that simple.

"Why the fuck can't she 'clear the air' huh?" I ask with an annoyance in my voice. This was the other thing. It was always up to me to fix things. Never her. I would yell, I apologize. She would yell. I was still expected to apologize. Everything fell on me and it still is.

"Harry I get it. You're frustrated but it's in your best interest" He states completely avoiding my question.

"Fine I will see you Saturday morning. What time?"

"Let's meet at the radio studio early, say 7:30am? You're interview is live at 8:30, I wanna make sure we can go over everything first." He says sounding much more chipper and upbeat knowing I am reluctantly agreeing to this.

"Alright. See you then" and I hang up. "dammit" I mumble under my breath although no one's around me as I sit here in my home, alone. It's always on me.
