Johnny's POV

"Mark," I called out. Sean had been gone for over an hour. I had forgotten my phone back at Lin-Manuel's event and Sean had volunteered to pick it for me. But he never came back.

"Boss?" Mark appeared.

"Have you heard from Sean?" I frowned.

"No, sir," Mark sighed. "I've sent him a couple of texts and he only responded to the first ones. That was almost an hour ago."

I didn't like this. Something was off. Something inside me warned me that something was not right.

"We should go back to look for him," I nodded.

"I can go back," Mark responded. "You can stay and rest."

"No," I shook my head. "I'm coming along."

Ever since we left the event, I felt uneasy. I couldn't stay home. I needed to know that Sean was okay. And Jen was there....this would give me an excuse to see her again.

"Where are you going?" I heard Christi called out.

"Sean is missing," I frowned. "He's been gone for an hour and we are gonna go look for him."

"Maybe he stayed to hang out with Lin and Jen," Christi shrugged. "Let him be. I'm sure he'll be back soon."

"No," I shook my head. "I want to make sure he's okay."

"No," Christi sighed and folded her arms. "You want to go see Jen. And you're using Sean as an excuse."

"I'll be back a little bit later," I responded, completely ignoring her comment.

"Wait," she called out. "I'll come with you."

"You don't have to," I shook my head.

"I really do," she said, walking past me and walking out the door.

Sean's POV

When Antonio announced he had found Ms. Jennifer's cell phone, my heart dropped. But when I found her stiletto shoes, I knew that something was very wrong.

Even in the darkness, I knew Mr. Lin-Manuel was at a loss for words. I knew that he was feeling the same thing I was feeling: fear.

"Where can she be?" Mrs. Vanessa asked. I could hear the shakiness in her voice.

I said nothing, but continued to look down at the ground. Not knowing how to proceed. I grabbed her shoes and approached Antonio.

"We need to split up," I said, looking at him. "You have my number?"

"Yeah," he nodded.

"Good," I nodded. "I'll go this way; you go that way."

"Got it," he nodded and began to walk away in the opposite direction.

I continued to walk aimlessly. Someone had to find another clue of where she may be.

When I reached an intersection of a building, I felt something inside me telling me to continue walking down an alley that was located behind that building. The alley was dark, a light was very dimly lit from across the street, giving the alley somewhat of a hint of light.

There were two dumpsters but otherwise seemed isolated. I was about to walk back towards the street when I spotted something in the middle of the alley. I walked towards it and quickly realized it was a person laying down there. Asleep.

I squinted my eyes and began to pick up my pace. I flashed the flashlight over the body and immediately recognize the figure. It was Ms. Jennifer.

My heart began to beat faster.
