I grew increasingly worried after hearing a gunshot echo through the woods and I wasn't the only one as Lori stopped and turned around causing all of us to stop. I kept my hand on Glenn's sleeve not wanting to let go. "You still worrying about it?" Andrea asks, looking towards Lori.

"It was a gunshot." Lori says still not turning around to face us.

"We all heard it." Daryl says wanting to get moving again. To be honest, despite my worry I was more worried about how long we had been out. We don't know what time it is, and it could be dark soon. We needed to get out of the woods or else the prissy one's are gonna get spooked and shot a bush.

"Why one? Why just one gunshot?" Lorie turns to us, seeking an answer from us. An answer that we didn't have.

"Maybe they took down a walker." Daryl shrugs at his explanation. Maybe they did take out a walker, the issue was that there was only one shot, there can't just be one walker out. "Please don't patronize me. You know Rick wouldn't risk a gunshot to put down one walker, or Shane. They'd do it quietly." Lori says upset that Daryl would even suggest that they took out a walker with a gun.

"That's true, they wouldn't be risking a gunshot to take down only one walker, that sound could lure more of them." I say getting even more worried now that I was thinking about the sound. Oh god, I really hope that their alright, especially that Carl is with them. "Shouldn't they have caught up with us by now?" Carol says and I feel my breath leave my body. She's not wrong they should have been with us already.

"There's nothing we can do about it, anyway. Can't run around these woods chasing echoes." Daryl says trying again to get us to move. I grew upset by this, was he not as worried as us, I grip Glenn's sleeve tighter.

He looked down at me with worried eyes, he can always tell when I'm upset. "So, what do we do?" Lori asks quickly. "Same as we've been. Beat the bush for Sophia, work our way back to the highway." Daryl says back motioning for us to start walking again.

Andrea looks to all of us before turning to Lori, "I'm sure they'll hook up with us back at the RV." she tries to reassure the mother. Lori gives one more glance to the woods behind us before moving forward, she passes Glenn and I. We join Daryl and Lori leaving behind Carol and Andrea.

Andrea moves closer towards Carol; we stop moving turning back towards the two waiting for them to move. "I'm sorry for what you're going through. I know how you feel." Carol gives Andrea a look before answering her. "I suppose you do. Thank you. The thought of her, out here by herself. It's the not knowing that's killing me. I just keep hoping and praying she doesn't wind up like Amy. Oh, God! That's the worst thing I ever said." I cringe, Carol could have kept that to herself.
