“You have been studying all about me…?” I repeated what she said.

Study? She’s have been studying about me? When? I got a lot of questions in my head.

This Boss usually the mysterious one. I couldn’t tell what she was saying is true.

“What a popular figure doing working in this company?” She asked. I blinked at her numerous times. Oh…she know?

I gulped. Should I just tell her that I am in need of money because of my late dad's debts? I don’t want her to laugh at me because the debts is the reason that I’m poor.

“It’s a secret.” I said. There was no way I'm going to tell her honestly. I decided to escape from her but this woman managed to grab my wrist.

“I’m not done talking to you, puppy.” Again? She called me puppy again…

“Why did you decide working in my company? Is it because of her?”

“Huh?” I don’t get it. Who her?

“You and Gahyeon…you guys are dating, aren’t you? That’s why she begged me to have you working in my company…”

“Wha…this is absurd. Me and Gahyeon are friends. We are nothing more than just a friend. And we are both women. We can’t possibly date with each other.” I nearly shouted at her for being embarrassed. How could she think that I'm dating my own best friend? The last part was actually not true. I do want to date with woman but I have to cover my image since I am an actress. It will ruin my reputation if my fans found out that I am lesbian.

I already analyzed everything. Most of my fans are homophobic.

She suddenly let go of me and I quickly bowed to her before I started going back to my office.

What was that all about?

For the next few days, Gahyeon was in the office often. The Lady Boss suddenly gave her a simple task, relating to HR works.

That’s…really weird. What changed her mind suddenly?

Just when I was thinking about Lady Boss, a telephone in front of me suddenly ring. I quickly picked it up without knowing who is calling

“It’s Minji. Do you have any works to do?” It’s Lady Boss's voice. She must be calling me from her office.

“Not really.” I answered.

“Can you come to my office? And don’t forget to bring all your belongings including your laptop with you too.”

I slowly pulled the phone away from my ear. “Why does she suddenly ask me to come to her office? And with all my belongings? Did I do wrong?” I said softly to myself and quickly placed back the phone on my ear.

“Why?”

“Don’t ask me why. Just come to my office quick or I will fire you.” And just like that, she hung up. She was telling me to come to her office quickly and she would fire me if I don’t.

I quickly grabbed my laptop and my belongings. I made sure I didn’t leave anything here before slowly heading my way to Minji’s office.

I knocked on her door a few times until I heard her voice telling me to come in.

I entered the office and making sure I close the door since Lady Boss doesn’t like when the door is open. She was sitting at her desk, typing away on her keyboard of her PC.

“You are here.” She spoke as she stood up. “Sit on the couch.” She gestures me to sit on the couch. So I obliged and placed my laptop and other stuffs on the table that was in front of me. She walked toward my direction, eyeing on me with that cold stare.
