27. Oblivious

Yoongi couldn't just stand there. He had to do something. Without wasting another second, he pulled Y/N down before she took another step. Yoongi didn't know what came over him. He hugged her tightly, afraid that she would go far away. A tear rolled down his eyes unknowingly.

Y/N was surprised. She felt Yoongi's rapid heartbeat. She cried silently as Yoongi hugged her. The way he was holding her, she felt as if he's scared, as if he didn't tell her to stop existing. Y/N didn't hug him back. She stood there like a statue.

Yoongi moved away as he got back to his senses. "Are you fucking mad? What were you doing?" He asked angrily. Y/N didn't answer him. She just stared at him with a blank face. "ANSWER ME! DAMN IT." He yelled making her flinched.

"Why do you care? Why did you save me? Go away. I'm gonna make your life easier. So just let me be." Y/N snapped, pushing him. She was going towards the fence again but Yoongi grabbed her. "Stop this madness." He said, glaring at her. "Who are you? Stop acting like you care. Eomma is not here so you don't have to act. I can't tolerate this anymore. You won't feel a thing if I die."

Y/N kept saying all those things like he doesn't care about her while trying to get rid off his tight grip until Yoongi had enough. "OH I DO. I FUCKING CARE CAUSE I LO-" She looked at him with wide eyes. Yoongi was silent as well. No one talked. They stood there in silence for a while. "W-what? You what Yoongi? Tell me!" She asked desparately.

"Nothing." Yoongi said walking backwards, still trying to process what the shit he was about to say. He ran away from there ignoring Y/N's constant asking. She sighed facing towards the sky. Does he? No no. This is stupid to think that he- she laughed pathetically.

After a while Y/N made her way towards their room. On the way she saw an old woman. She was around her nana's age. She missed her. Y/N was surprised when the woman stopped her. "Are you okay honey?" The woman asked.

Y/N was caught off guard. Huh? Is it that obvious? "Uh yes. Why?" She replied, trying to understand what's happening. "Your husband was looking for you." Y/N looked up. Husband? "Why are you so shocked?" The older woman chuckled. "You don't know how worried your husband was when he couldn't find you. He literally turned this place upside down." She let out another chuckle.

Y/N stood there without saying anything. She just couldn't process this. What's this woman saying? "You're very lucky dear to have a husband like him. He must love you so much." Y/N looked at her. "Right, love." She let out a tiring smile. "God bless you both." She was going to say more when her husband interrupted. "This man ughhh! It was nice talking to you. See you later and stop making your husband worry too much. He might fire up this place if you disappear next time." The woman walked away while laughing.

What the hell just happened? Is it really true? Yoongi was worried for me? I can't think anything. Her stomach growled. I'm so hungry. Why the hell did I starve myself last night? She walked towards the room while scolding herself.

The rest of the day passed with a blink of an eye. Yoongi wasn't there. Where's he? He returned around 11 pm. Y/N wanted to ask where he was all day but she didn't bother him. It was clear that he was ignoring her. A little while later a staff brought their dinner. They had eaten in silence.

Yoongi didn't even throw a single glance at her but he knew Y/N was staring at him. "Stop staring." He said in annoyance. Her ears turned red in embarassment. "Sorry." She mumbled, looking at everywhere but him.

Meanwhile Yoongi was still thinking about what happened in the morning. He was trying to understand why he was acting like that, like a crazy. He didn't want to face Y/N and still he doesn't so he'll ignore her at all costs again. He wasn't like that before. Ever since Y/N came to his life, everything changed. Nowadays he can't recognise himself anymore.
