40. End of the chaos - pt.2

This was not the first thing Yoongi expected to hear from Y/N. He thought she was going to panic. He was quiet for a moment. He held the chain and looked at it, thinking what it symbolises. "Mmm." He hummed in response. "Why?" She asked. "Because it's special. It made me feel close to you." Y/N's chest tightened at the remark. "Right." She laughed in which Yoongi could feel the pain. Again silence crept across the room. "Y/N I'm-"

"Why?" Yoongi frowned. "Why Min Yoongi? Why did you save me? You hate me then why have you been looking for me?" She asked as tears ran down her cheeks. Now she was looking at him. "So that you can hurt me more?" It broke his heart. "No Y/N."

"Lies! You know I've been hurt by so many people but it never cut me but you Min Yoongi... You left scars in my heart." Her voice cracked. "Can you heal me?" Yoongi was silent. "I-"

"Yes only you can heal me but you know what? I don't need your pity. I don't need anything else from you. I ruined your career and you broke my heart. Isn't that you wanted? You won Yoongi." She broke down. Yoongi got up from the stool and held Y/N's hand. She tried to snatch it but Yoongi held it tight.

"I'm so sorry. Though I know a sorry isn't enough what I put you through, what I told you. I never wanted to hurt you Y/N. All my life I've chased my dream and it took a lot to reach at the position where I am right now. But after the marriage I saw my downfall. I was so blind with rage, pain, regret, insecurity that I put all the blames on you. I totally forgot or didn't want to admit that it was my fault too. You were not the only one to blame but being an asshole I am I made you feel terrible. I really am the worst."

Yoongi paused for a moment. Y/N listened his every single words. "I was so focused to hurt you, to make you miserable that I didn't realise your love moreover I didn't realise I was in love with you too." Y/N's heart skipped a beat. She froze at her place. "W-what?" She asked with wide eyes. "Yeah. To answer your questions, I'm in love with you. I saved you because I would die if something happened to you. I was looking for you because I can't live without you."

Y/N didn't know what to say. She felt like crying. Was she dreaming? She couldn't believe her ears. Does he really love me back? "You know love is not the only thing I realised after you left. I also realised that our wedding wasn't fake. We did it because we wanted it to happen. I fell in love with you way before this mess but I just wish I realised it sooner and the circumstance was different."

She was spellbound. She forgot everything when Yoongi confessed that he's in love with her. She just stared at him with wide eyes. Yoongi stared back, intertwining their hands. "I know I screwed up. I would take all the pain from you if I could. I really don't deserve you. I'm not worthy of your love. I-"

His words cut off as he felt a pair of soft lips on his. He was caught off guard but he smiled. He hugged her, kissing her back before she pulled away. Tears were rolling down her eyes. "You stupid cat! Dumbass, asshole, the worst of worst I hate you." Y/N hit his chest as she whined. Yoongi grabbed her hand, placing them on the left side of chest. She felt his rapid heartbeat. "Nae Sarang." (My love)

Tears continued to flow from her eyes as Yoongi finally muttered those words which she's been waiting to hear. "Would you give me another chance? I know I'm certainly not the best but I'll try to be better and be the partner you deserve." She nodded vigorously. Then the rapper caressed her cheeks before wiping her tears. "I can't afford to lose you once again. I love you so much." Her heart was swelled with happiness. She felt whole. Yoongi made her complete. "I love you too." She said, burying herself in his chest where she felt safe the most. They stayed in each other's arms for few minutes until they heard a few sounds of whistle.
