The next two days went by in the blink of an eye. It was disappointing because I never wanted this week to end with him. I knew after this that we'd go back to work. By that thursday Christopher and I woke up in bed skin to skin. The balcony door was open we could hear the waves crash in the ocean.
It was a beautiful sound just like his heart beat. I could hear his heart as I laid my head on his chest facing the balcony. I wrapped my left leg around his waist as I laid there looking at the blue sky. He ran his fingers through my hair. It was so peaceful and relaxing being with him.
"What else attracted you to me besides my voice" he asked.
I instantly lifted my head up looking at his face. Looking in his eyes my heart skipped a beat before I could speak.
"Your eyes" I said staring.
"My chinky eyes" he asked laughing.
"Yes I love your chinky eyes" I said blushing.
"I love you stink" he said before squeezing my butt.
"Stink? Not stink" I said laughing.
"Yeahh you my stink you not going nowhere" he said before slapping it.
"Slap it again and watch what's gonna happen"
Once he slapped it I tried to jump out of his firm grip. But I couldn't exscape as we laughed and wrestled on th bed. I missed our little playful moments like these while he was busy. We always had a playful nature even when I was with Rene. Christopher always found a way to keep me smiling.
Later that day while Christopher and I sat on the beach sitting on our towel under the shade. I got a call from Terry. I got up and told Christopher I had to take his call.
"Hello" I said answering the phone.
"Hey Janet I got some news for your new project"
"Is it good" I asked looking at the ocean waves.
"Me and Jimmy think it's good.
We want to work Minneapolis for this album like with did for control."
"But Terry why do we have to go all the way over there. What's so special about that studio when I can do the same in LA?"
"It's special to us we made history back there. Plus Jimmy and I miss home"
"Ugh when do you plan on leaving?"
"In two weeks, we wanted to leave earlier. But we wanted to give you sometime first"
"Ok"
"Okay your good?"
"Yeah Terry talk to you later" I said hanging up.
I sat back down next to Christopher while laid he back looking at the blue sky. He sat up and looked at me before speaking.
"Is everything ok" he asked putting
his arm around me.
"In two weeks I have to go to Minneapolis for awhile with Jimmy and Terry to work on my next project"
"Why Minneapolis?"
