While traveling by bus, Amaira kept checking her watch."3 hours more to go. Great, Nakul is not talking to me, Karan is ignoring me, Anu is busy talking to Abhishek and here I am stuck with reading this dumb novel which is making me even more bored." Amaira mumbled. Amaira took her phone and texted.
Bookworm Roomie:- "Girl bored AF rescue me please :("
But she got no response. So she texted Anuradha once again.
Bookworm Roomie:- "Anu, please don't ignore me."
Still no response. Amaira got frustrated but she was not going to give up so she texted her again
Business S Batch BA7:- "Everyone is ignoring me in our group and also people outside of it, atleast you rescue me."
[Ding!] Every Student in the bus got an unknown notification. Amaira was confused. She also then received a text.
Bookworm Roomie:- "Girl are you crazy?!,you are texting in our batch's official group chat."
Amaira's face turned red. She looked up and saw that everyone in the bus was staring at her. "s-sorry" she blurted out and hid her face in the book.
Finally after an hour Amaira was settling in by watching random videos on youtube. When suddenly from behind a paper ball was thrown in her direction. She looked behind and saw everyone were throwing small paper balls at Nakul. Nakul was staring down at his feet.[BAM!].Another paper ball landed on his head. She opened the paper ball and read "Scaredy Nakul sitting beside embarrassing Amaira." Amaira's fist clenched. She gritted her teeth. Another paper ball landed on his head, that's when she lost it.
She stood up and darted towards the group. "You think you guys are so smart but in reality, you guys are just kids with bone heads and immaturity. If I see another paper ball thrown in our direction, I will have two options: either to go to Dean Jade and report you guys or to punch you guys just the way I did to Emily. I am sure you guys must have heard of it or do I need to give a demo?"Amaira shouted. The group of girls and boys were now silent and scared. "Good and if I saw you bullying me or Nakul or any other student in this Academy, then next time I won't be so polite." and Amaira stormed back to her seat.
The whole bus was now silent since the scene. "T-thanks for that I Was so fed up with those students, that I hid away from them and that's the reason why Anna couldn't find me in the morning." Nakul said. "Hey, it's ok no biggie but you should learn to stand up for yourself, don't worry I will teach you how, since you are my friend." Amaira said with a smile. "f-friends?" Nakul extended his hand towards Amaira and smiled weakly. Amaira smiled and shook his hand back.
The rest of the ride went by them chatting and Nakul finally opening up to Amaira. After some hours the bus arrived at its final destination. Everyone climbed down from the bus, Amaira saw a big sign towards the entrance. "Nightly Woods Camp for Biz Schools" Amaira smiled and went inside. The camp had a big ground and on the right side big lavish sheds and on the left side a big lake. "Hey Amaira." someone called out. She looked behind and saw Karan ." I know, I decided to ignore you, but seeing how you stood up for yourself and Nakul on the bus was quite courageous and it made me think that you need a second chance. I hope it's not too much of a pressure." Karan said with a smirk. Amaira laughed and Karan joined in too.
"Okay let's start over, I am Amaira wanna be friends?" Amaira asked. "Sure, if you ever need any help just ask will catch up soon, have to get going. Bye" Karan said and smiled and left. Amaira was smiling and maybe blushing while looking at the direction he left. She sighed a breath of relief and thought that things are finally in order and everything will work out soon.
