The Lyceum Life Of Amaira

Chapter 12:- The First Task

       At Evening, All of the students were gathered inside the main bunker. All the groups were arranged in lines. Dean Jade smiled as she approached the stage. "Good evening, cupcakes as you all know that you have taken admission in our prestigious academy in order to create a good career base and knowledge for your future in the field of business. And I am sure that there are many students here who will surely have the potential to be future entrepreneurs. This trip is not only for a vacation but also for learning and some important teachings as well as experience that you will need later on in your career.

Today's task is very much similar to that. It will teach you how to work as a team and achieve your goal which benefits everyone. So your first task is to collect envelopes which will be provided to your respective group heads, the envelope contains 5 flashcards each of which contains the location of some materials to create an object, you need to find those 5 materials and build a creative object from it from those materials. The team who does that will win a prize and a bonus prize will be given to them, if they guess the object correctly, state its function, try to sell and pitch it to the audience and tell what did they learn from the task.

Also some rules are assigned for this task. For each step you will get deadlines, from searching to guessing to creating the object, each will have a time limit. Wish you all the best, seniors please gather near the stage area for additional instructions. Everyone applauded and Dean Jade Exited the stage.

"I am scared," Nakul said nervously. "Don't worry Nakul, just stick with us." Amaira reassured. Anna came in with their envelope. "Ok, take your respective flashcards remember no need to wear yourselves out just give your 100 percent and don't just wander around or waste your time." Everyone nodded. "Ok, but we do need a plan, every other group will disperse and will try to solve the riddles by themselves. But we will do the opposite, we will solve all the puzzles together and disperse to find the objects. Also I pulled some strings and got us walkie talkies. So if you are not able to find the clues just say on walkie talkie." Anna instructed.

"Ok teams, you can start your game in 3..2..1 GO!" Dean jade shouted. All the students dispersed the hall and split up. But Amaira's group didn't move; they remained in the main hall and everyone opened their envelopes. "Ok everyone will go one by one, I will open mine first." Anna opened her envelope and read out loud. Put Your Heads together, no path is easy. The piece you seek likes to be calm and breezy. Everyone Got lost in their thoughts trying to figure out the clue. Abhishek interrupted. "Ok, so if we look carefully at the line, we can see the main clue here is breezy and free. Breezy means wind. But all the places in the camp are breezy and open." Nakul suddenly raised his hand and looked towards Anna for permission to say. She nodded. "The m-most breeziest place in camp is the l-lake. Whenever I am anxious, I like to go there. So lake m-must be the answer." Everyone agreed and clapped. "Very good Nakul. You will go to the lake, Since you know the place well and bring the object. Meanwhile we will figure out the next clue, in case you need help, use the walkie talkie." Nakul nodded and sprinted towards the lake.

"Ok I will go next." Abhishek said and opened up his envelope. Beware I am famous for my scary stories, when you take my name I bring goosebumps to you and home to few. The object lies in me, you will find it if you come and see. "Oh Oh, I know I read a lot of novels, here the key is horror and goosebumps. The only place we can read countless horror stories about is the woods, a home to few means it is home for Wildlife or Animals, the next object definitely must be in the woods!." Anuradha said excitedly. "Perfect Anuradha, now let's open yours so that you and Abhishek can start searching for your objects."

Anuradha opened her envelope and read. Ahem! Ahem! Attention everyone all eyes up here, the object you are seeking lies on the top and handled carefully and perfectly. If you are smart enough, try to come at the top and be a part of our smarties club. Only the best are allowed and kept. "This one doesn't rhyme at all but it does tell us about some clubs, the clues here are top, smart club and best." Amaira said. Everyone started thinking again. Amaira tapped her foot, glancing here and there thinking about the clue that's when she saw Dean Jade talking with a girl with a blue scarf and a blazer. "Say, Anna, who is that girl talking to Dean Jade?" Amaira asked. Anna turned and looked towards the girl. "Oh, She is a part of the student council only the academically best students are part of it." Anna said. "Wait! That's it. The student council room must be the answer." Amaira said excitedly. "You are right and it's on the top of the floor. Ok I will go and talk to the girl and go to the student council room. Amaira, hurry up only yours and Nakul's clues are left open yours." Anna said.

Amaira then opened her envelope. The Secret to a long, healthy life is exercise. By using me, You can live a long healthy life and love your body. I am just exercise; made fun. Everyone loves me from kids to Adults. The key to fitness freaks heart and fun is inside me. But also the object you seek. "Is it the gym?" Anna asked. "We don't have a gym in our camp." Amaira said. "Exercise, Fitness Freak, healthy it must be the gym if not that then what?." Anna complained. Everyone once again got lost in thoughts. Just then a group of seniors approached them. "Sorry, for interrupting you guys. But we are here to invite you guys to our private dorm room, tomorrow night for the Lakers game. Password is 'Lebro'. See ya." And they left. "What a waste of time, distraction by a dumb basketball game." Anna said angrily. "Basketball! It's the sports room Anna. Sports is a form of exercise for our body which keeps us healthy and we also have fun doing it." Amaira said. "Amaira, you are a genius! You go to the sports room then but before that let's solve the last clue which is Nakul's clue."

Anna removed her walkie talkie "Nakul, Are u there? Please open your envelope and tell us the clue." After about a minute Nakul responded. "Y-yeah s-sorry, umm let me check the clue. Oh no, it's soaking w-wet." Anna got furious and shouted. "What! How did you get it wet?!" Nakul then responded with a shaking voice. "S-sorry I fell in the lake but D-don't worry I am fine and I can read the clue, It's still visible." Yummy Yummy Happy Tummy. More than enough for a clue. Don't you think?

"IT'S THE CAFETERIA!" everyone shouted Simultaneously. "Very good so we have all the locations. Amaira will go to the sports room, Nakul to the lake, Abhishek in the cafeteria, Anuradha in the woods and myself in the student council room. We have about 10 mins left, get sprinting everyone don't waste time!. See you in 9 minutes. GO! GO! GO!." Anna ordered. And With that everyone dispersed to their respective locations.

Next chapters will include the POV of each characters. Even a minute can change a person's whole life. What effect will 10 minutes bring in everyone's lyceum life?. Stay tuned. :)
