Acceptance

Maya's POV

Damien hasn't been home for 4 days already and i am starting to get worried even though he brought me here against my will. Even though i am not ready or want to be the Luna of this pack, i still care about them.  I was heading downstairs to the kitchen to grab a snack at the middle of the night when i felt a sharp pain that stopped me on my tracks. I let out a half scream and put my hand on my lower stomach,then it happened again and this time i screamed a little louder. Sarah came from around the corner from the kitchen and saw me hunched down almost on my knees and rushed to me. "Maya honey whats going on,why the scream?" I dont know what happened but i felt this sharp pain on my lower stomach and is got hard.Sarah looked at me with a worried look and helped me to have a seat,went to the sink ,grabbed a cup with water to give to me. "here drink this, i am going to call the doctor, and take deep breaths Maya i will be right back."  Is too early to have my baby, this cannot be happening. I kept saying to myself. Sarah came back and told me the doctor was on his way, helped me walk to the family room that was not too far from the kitchen. I could hear Amanda's voice of worry down the hall and Sam too. A short while later the doctor walked in and went straight to my side. After examining me, he told me it was best to go to the hospital to better monitor me. At that moment i wished Damien was here with me, but he wasn't. We headed to the hospital were i was surrounded with wires and monitors and other stuff. The nurse had given something for the anxiety i was having because of everything that was going on with the baby.  Don't know how long i was out when i felt a hand on my stomach and someone slightly snoring. As i opened my eyes and smelled like something died, i turned my head to see Damien there. How,when did he get here? Damn this man reeks like he has not bathed in weeks. I cleared my throat and he woke up to see me looking at him. "Hey, how are you feeling?"Damien asked me as he was fixing himself on the chair. I am better, i answered him back. He went to get the doctor to let him know i was awake. The doctor came in and examined me, he was happy with how well i was getting and told me that i could go home tomorrow with the condition that i was to be on full bed rest until i give birth. The next day came and as i got discharged and was heading to Damien's home,he showed me to the room where i was going to stay which was on the first floor. I was releived but a little sad because that meant that i would not be in the same room with him..I guess he noticed the look on my face cause he said" dont worry i will sleeping here too,just to make sure you are ok" I started getting butterflies on my stomach like the first time we met. We got ready for dinner where Sarah and Amanda were waiting for us at the dinner table..
