Ohh jeez what did i do now? i only have been here for 2 weeks and now she wants to see in her office?"what the hell did you do that go you going to the office like a principal women?" i said internally. As i go in the office to see Amanda i see a small box with a white bow on the corner of her desk. "Umm hi Amanda, is there something wrong? did i do a mistake on my workload? am i getting fired?" Maya please stop, Amanda said giggling as my anxiety level was going up like one thousand times. As i sat she was wobbling around the desk to sit next to me with the small box in front of her. Maya since you came to work here and helped me out with the transition of leaving to have my baby i just wanted to thank you and invite you to dinner with my family. Is nothing formal, and also wanted to give you this, as she gives me the small box i opened it and there was a beautiful saphire necklace that i can only imagine cost a fortune. " Amanda this is gorgeous but i cannot accept this, and as for the dinner you really dont have to go out of your way for that, i am just doing what i got hired to do, thats all. As i pulled up to the house i noticed mom's truck was not there. hmmm that's weird, mom is usually home before me. Went inside and to the kitchen and noticed a sticky note on the fridge" Maya honey i will be late tonite, showing more houses to a client, there is chicken alfredo in the fridge, see you tonite, love mom" ok then, good thing i am going to this restaurant, as i went upstairs to get ready my phone went off, text from Maria, hi girly hope you are liking south carolina, i really miss you, call me when you get a chance love you. Ohh Maria how i miss you too. Me and her are like sisters from another mother. Best friends since as long as i can remember. I will call her tonite. I got to the restaurant late because i could not find a parking nowhere. Geez what are they giving out free food here that i cannot get a parking? Just as i was walking inside i saw him, the greek god of a guy. What the hell is he doing here and with Amanda? ohh dont tell me that they are a couple? ohh no, this cannot be happening, and just as i was going to turn around and walk out i hear Amanda's voice calling me,"Maya over here" Shit have no choice now, i turn around and wave at her and walk towards the table that her,an older lady and he were sitting at. Wait does he have contacts on? i could have sworn he had ocean green color eyes? i reach to the table and greet everyone, the older woman reaches out her hand and gestures for me to sit."Maya is so good to finally meet you, i am Sarah and this is Damien my son. please have a seat." Ohhhhh her son and not Amanda's partner, well thank heavens for that. " Is nice to meet you Mrs. Sarah and Damien, and like that i felt the earthquake in my body just like other day at starbucks. Lord have mercy this man is going to be the death of me.
