Damien's POV

"Alpha,i found her. I found our luna"Tran came into my office with a notice of being sure that he had found her.Tran is one of my best trackers that pack has, and it was why i put him in charge when Maya had left almost 4 and a half months ago. My wolf has not spoken to me ever since, and i have also not been myself either. "Are you sure you found her, Tran?" Yes, as he walked up to my desk and showed me a picture of her looking absolutely beautiful. As i kept looking at the picture something was off. Seeing her only from the neck up because she was standing in front of an SUV, i could tell she looked different. What was it? why does she look slightly different? Where is she Tran? i asked as i was walking towards outside of the pack house. She is in Vermont.What?! Yes alpha she has been there for the last months. We need to go there and bring her back home. "Umm there is one more thing i found out,she is pregnant alpha." Tran said with a tremble in his voice. " are you sure of what you are telling me,Tran?" That stopped me on my tracks for sure. After Tran confirmed that she was thru someone that works at the clinic where Maya  has been going for her check up, i told him to take me where my mate was. Once we landed in Vermont i went to see an old friend who i haven't seen in years. As soon as i went to the elevators of where Richard Hamlet worked, her scent hit me like a tornado. My mate is here and i am taking her home. Richard had greeted me on the hallway in front of his office and we spoke for a while. Maya's scent was all over and my wolf was going crazy wanting to see her and so was i. Richard had asked me why i was there and after explaining to him about Maya, he apologized as he didnt know she was my mate and luna of my pack. Suddenly there was a knock at the door and Richard had told the person on the other side to come in. That's when i saw her,my mate, the mother of my unborn child,Maya. The first thing she said when she saw me was"what are you doing here". Umm hello to you too mate, i said to myself. Richard had walked up to us and let us to speak alone. When i saw her, i could not hold myself and i just went up to her and gave her the kiss that i was yearning to give her for all this time. "Maya i am taking you home today" Suddenly she looked at me with those eyes of hatred,and disgust." What makes you think i am going with you,Damien? you betrayed me and lied to me, you cheated on me what that slut in your office. i would never go back to that house with you. What happened,did you get tired of that slut sucking you?" She kept rambling on and on. My wolf was not even saying a word, like he was enjoying a comedy show. ."Maya i can explain" She just cut me off by slapping me across my face,which just felt like a mosquito sting,but to her it looked like she sprained it. I knew she was in pain,i tried to take her hand but she took it back."Dont you dare touch me,never touch me again" The hurt and anger in her voice, made me cringed and fuel with anger."Listen to me very carefully Maya, you are my mate and you are going to go home with me whether you like it or not, is that understood, mate?!" i told her with the Alpha voice i use when i command the pack to do something. I grabbed her by her arm and almost dragged her to the car. Tran was trying to calm me down,telling me that she was pregnant and fragile, to please be easy on her. I turned around and gave me a look as of to kill. He bowed his head and remained silent thru the drive back home
