Hello! My name is Jesse Manchester, I'm a 14 year old girl with a SuperHero as a father. Captain Man. Its only been us two since my 'MoM' Lacey Lumbar left us for another man. After long times of fighting crime my dad thought it was time for another sidekick. Which i thought wasn't a good idea at first because, What if he tells people after the oath..? Or he just tells.

But then i had to agree because i don't think my dad would of listened. After i agreed he put an ad online for 'working in Junk'n Stuff' as sweeping the floors or something

Jesse's POV

As me and my dad were sitting on the couch talking to eachother about stuff when we heard yelling, I looked at my dad in confusion as we both stood up looking at the elevator hearing it ding and open.

As the door opened a little boy with messy blonde hair came in looking around before spotting us. He slightly came towards us saying 'Hello!'

'Hey, How are you? Cool. Thanks, Great! Nice to meet you. I'm doing good, What's your name?' My dad said all at once making me sigh, He walks over to the young boy.

'Um, I'm Henry Hart. I-I'm here about the job' He says looking very confused

'Thanks?' Henry confusingly thanks him. Very confused about everything.

'I'm Ray, Thats my daughter..U-Uhmm' He says squinting his eyes at me. I sigh as i say 'I'm Jesse' I fake a smile as my father also smiles.

'Hi Ray! Hey Jesse!' Henry smiles looking at us. Hopefully he becomes my friend..

'You ask a lot of questions..' Ray squints his eyes at henry. Henry looks at me before looking at him. 'I don't think i've asked any questions..?' Henry asks puzzled

'Chocolate or vanilla?' I quickly ask looking at him. Hoping he says Chocolate..

'Vanilla' Henry replies fastly making me throw my head back groaning as i hear my dad cheering. I look at my dad to see him smirking at me. 'Fine. You win..' I sigh making him turn back to henry who is even more confused now.

'Dogs or cats?' My dad says as he still has the smirk on his face

'Dogs' Henry answers as i smile nodding 'Keeper.' I smirk looking at my dad. 'Hm..Helicopters or Kangeroos' My dad questioned again.

'Helicopters' Henry says.

'Scrambled eggs or..Dynamite.' He looked at henry with an intense look, 'Both?' He answers.

'Complete this sentence, I'm sorry, Mother. I didn't mean for my elephant to..blank' My dad said looking at him. 'Uh..Lick dad??' Henry squinted and unsquinted his eyes answering.

I smiled at his answer as they laughed. I like this kid

'Well, Thats not funny.' My dad says as we all stopped laughing and smiling. I agreed taking out the bubblegum container tube from my pocket and stood up with my dad walking to the monitor. Me and my dad both took one and started chewing.

'Uhm..Is this the job interview?' Henry asked, Watching us go over to the monitor..

'Do you want it to be the job interview..?' I asked looking over at Henry, 'Uhm, What is the job' He asks.

'What do you think it is?' I say getting ready to blow a bubble, 'Uh well, The ad said part-time helper..So i'm thinking maybe you need someone...to help you?' Henry slowly answered and watched us walk around 'Y'know..Part-time'
