'Wha--Wait!' I yelled out as i ran after Gooch and Schwoz as they ran off to Junk-N-Stuff's front door. 'Don't leave!' Henry yelled out as i groaned.
'WE NEED TO CHEER RAY UP!' I shouted as the door closed. 'Ohhh yeahhh, just RUN AWAY!'
'Cowards' I mumbled turning towards Henry. 'Come on, guys! You won't even look at us?' Henry scoffed as he looked over at me. putting down the boxes of stuff.
'What are Gooch and Schwoz running from?' Charlotte asks, walking over to us in confusion. 'Ray. He's in a real bad mood.' Henry says making me nod in agreement.
'Its his supper anniversary' I explained. One thing i'm afraid of of my father. How angry and grumpy he gets on this specific day. He's always so gentle. Or well. Sometimes with me.
But no. not on these sorta days.
'Super..?' Charlotte raised an eyebrow as she trailed off. 'The anniversary of when he was eight years old. That's when he got densitised and became indestructible.' I explained, carrying the child's sentence on.
'Oooh! Fun. We should celebrate' Charlotte smiles widely as i shook my head and immediately spoke. 'No no no no no!'
'I mean..nooo..' Charlotte shook her head.
'But uh..Why not?' She asked as i gulped. 'Ray hates his supper anniversary.' I nodded. 'And..why?' Charlotte asked again as i sighed. 'Because when my grandpa found out he was indestructible, he took him out of school and strarted training him' I explained.
'To y'know, kick ass and fight crime' Henry said as i nodded. giving him a small smile for "helping"
'And now, he feels like he missed out on all the fun things of being a normal kid' Henry finished it off for me as i sighed.
'Aw. That's so sad.' Charlotte frowned as i did the exact same. He always took me out to amusement parks but never went on with me.
'Yup. He's never been camping, never been on a rollarcoaster. Hell. He can't even ride a bike.' I sighed as i looked at the floor.
'Wait. He took you to amusement parks, though. How did he never go on one?' Charlotte looked at me in confusion and i sighed. 'Yeah, he did. But uh. He always declined when i asked to go on with me. It always made me sad but he's strict with that.'
'Same with the bike riding. I always went out to ride my bike, but he always walked.'
'Hmm. Well. My uncle Rosco never learned how to ride a bike.' Charlotte mentioned and i looked at her. 'How come?' Henry asked. 'Because when he was a kid. He already weighed 400 pounds. The bikes just couldn't take it.' She sighed, shaking her head in the progress.
'Poor bikes'
'Hey hey, need some help?' Henry asked, giving a girl that walked into the store a bright smile. 'I was just wondering if i could try out that piano over there?' The little girl asked nicely making me smile. Awweeeee.
Henry looked over at me and i chuckled. 'Of course, you can. Go ahead.'
She gave me a smile and went over to play a soft song. Such a soft melody floating through the whole shop.
'Hey hey hey! What's with all that racket out here!' I heard my dad shout as he ran into the room. A full frown all over his face as he walked in. Looking over at us in annoyance.
'Uhh. Its just a customer checking out the piano' Henry answered.
'Hey. Hey you!' Ray looked over at the girl and yelled, making her stop her beautiful melody. Oh my gosh. 'Haven't you learned how to play that crummy song yet?' Ray spat out as the girl teared up. Awe noooo.
