It wasn't until a day later that the forest fire was finally put out. Toby's body was never found, but the blood tracks seemed to have ended out of nowhere.
It was almost like something took him.
Connie was pulled for questioning but she was too stunned to speak. A following week later news channels everywhere in Colorado suspected murders of different people, all usually middle aged drunk people. They would be ruthlessly murdered overnight, some say caused by a hatchet to the head.
Some people suspect that the way Toby murdered his dad was similar across the cities. Tobias could still be out there, with god knows what intentions.
Most people think the boy died in that fire, including his traumatized mother who now stayed at her sister Lori's house.
No one will ever know the real truth, or why Toby turned up missing, especially after doing that to his own father. Kids that went to his old school can't sleep at night, fearing he's out there, and wanting revenge.
But if he truly was dead, who could explain the sudden axe murders and house fires over night. Kids are claiming they are seeing sightings of a masked person with orange looking eyes that reflect off the moon's light. Some say they spotted a figure run into the forest on a security camera after a house 'mysteriously' caught flame.
The case of Toby Rogers is truly a mystery.
