A month later (December 2019)
"Sammm, can you help me with these boxesss there too heavyy," Zoey calls upstairs
"Cominggg," Sam thuds down the loft stairs
"Are those the last of the packages I ordered?" Sam remarks suspiciously
"Yeah, I think so," Zoey replies shifting around the boxes
"Hey hey hey, put that down" Sam snatches the box politely
"Finee" Zoey giggles
"Did you call skolby to come over and help decorate by any chance?" Sam asks Zoey
(pronounced skull-be)
"Who is skolby?" Zoey gives Sam a furrowed brow
"Skye and Colby," Sam replies
"Ohhhh yeahh, I forgot you call them that sometimes" Zoey recalls
"No, I did not call them."
"Okay, I'll give them a call," Sam chuckles
*Skye and Colby meet each other at Sam's front door*
"Do you have any clue what we're decorating for?" Colby asks Skye with a huge smile
"No idea," Skye laughed back
*Knock knock knock*
"Hey guys, come on in," Zoey answers the apartment door a few seconds later.
"Soo now that we're all here, what are we decorating for? I know it's Christmas time, but still," Skye mentions
"Zoey and I haven't even decorated our apartment yet."
"Well, I have a surprise later, and we're going to do a random present exchange thingy" "I don't even know what's inside half of those presents because I ordered random things last month," Sam laughs.
"Is it just going to be us?" Colby questions, resting his elbows on Skye's shoulders
"No, just the four of us, and we can do a hot chocolate-making contest!" Sam mentions
"Yeah, that would be fun!" Skye says cheerfully
"Boys vs. Girls" Zoey squeals, cuffing arms with Skye, stealing Colby's armrest
*Sam turns on a tv fireplace, and they begin to decorate the tree and light the loft railing and make the hot chocolate*
*Fast forward 45 mins later*
"Okay, so how do you want us to do this, Sam?" Zoey says, handing him hot chocolate
"Everyone gather in the living room. We can do the presents first, then I'll reveal the big surprise," Sam says with a giant grin
*Skye and Colby make their way over from the kitchen to the living room*
"Colbyy, you should go first!" Skye nudges Colby sitting next to her on the couch
"Fineee," Colby grunts sarcastically, getting up
*pokes a present*
"Ohhhp you touched it, it's yours now," Sam bellows like a dad
"What, whyy" Colby whines, unbeknownst of the rules. "You didn't say that," Colby laughs, snatching up the gift
"Fine, then hand it over," Skye giggles trying to compromise
