Miya

The scene laid before me was like everyone's lives were in this game. Karasuno was finally at match point in the second set of their game, each one of them completely in focus and on their toes.

I was paying relative attention to their attacks back and forth, completely hooked on the image that was being portrayed in front of my eyes. Their fluid movements, the anger as the ball hit the floor, it was all like it was out of a movie.

The ball was quickly received by Karasuno, and easily made its way into Kageyama's fingertips. With the force he pressed it out on, it looked as if Hinata was going to spike it down. I had the same gut feeling that he'd hit it, but to my surprise, something unexpected shone in that moment.

Instead of the ball being slammed down by the ginger, it was aimed directly at Dachi's position. He had already left off the floor, and was inches away from the ball and his hand making contact.

And the satisfying sound of the two meeting in mid-air at the perfect timing filled my ears. A grin was on my face as the ball landed inside the court, signifying that Karasuno had taken the set, and had therefore triumphed over their enemy team.

The whistle from the referee finally called the game with his hands, and I could help but sit up from my slouched position, and clap happily for them.

My hands applauded their entire team as the feeling of victory settled in, and I smiled warmly at the small face who turned to face me from the court.

Hinata's jaw was hanging open, and he seemed to be in complete shock and surprise from what had just occurred. It was quite funny, and I laughed softly as he sent me a beaming grin.

Kageyama just smirked at him, and looked up at me, a hint of a smile lingering on his lips.

But as soon as I raised an eyebrow at him with a small grin, he wiped off the smile with a scowl. He really was not good at expressing his true feelings at all.

Ah, high school. What you do to ruin young minds one by one.

I sighed and leaned back in my seat, undoing in the zipper on my sweater. The venue I was in didn't seem to have air conditioners, and I was already sweating. That really sucked, but I couldn't complain about it at all.

I pulled out my phone, and lazily unlocked it. With a browse through the messages my mom and dad had given me, my eyes landed on a contact I hadn't seen in a while, a visible smile appearing on my face.

Be sure to watch me today, alright cutie?

The feeling igniting in my body was almost ecstatic, and I found myself clutching my phone tightly against my chest. The tipsy feeling engulfing me felt so stunningly relaxing, and I swear I could feel my heart thumping in a rhythmic motion against my ribcage.

Even a message from him sent me into complete dumbfoundedness, which wasn't a good sign. I knew I had to be patient and let him take his time, but it was so incredibly hard when I was head over heels for him. Each message, every single look I receive from him lights a fire inside my heart, and I want nothing more but to be in his arms, eloped by his touch.

God. I'm way too obsessive over him.

With a gentle shake of my head, I stood up from my chair, and tucked my phone in my pocket. The audible sigh I let out received some attention from the people around me, but I didn't mind at all as I made my way out of the seating aisle.

I wanted to congratulate Karasuno on their game, and quickly head out for lunch. There was a nice area to eat near the complex, and I had discovered it on my drive here. Maybe if any of the guys from Karasuno wanted to head out there as well, so I wouldn't look like a loner when I went out to eat.
