End of School day

Instead of leaving school and heading straight home or hanging out with her friends Hu tao has to spend 30 minutes of after school detention with Xiao. Walking down the stairs to the second floor she finally made it to her desginated detention room the principle told her.

"Oh Ms.Hu you can have a seat over there and grab a worksheet from the front" the teacher of the room said pointing at the seat in the far left corner of the room. Hu tao just simply sighned before walking up to the front grabbing the piece of paper then taking her seat. "You know Ms.Hu its very suprising see you here, your usually a well behaved mostly".

"You really think so" Hu tao said skeptically "Yeah well next time associate your self with better people" The teacher says before turning his attention back to his paper work "Mr.Hu will be dissapointed when he gets the phonr call". "Oh yeah" Hu tao mumbles in a sad tone then suddely the door opens with Xiao entering the classroom. "Xiao you finally arrived have a seat right there and grab a worksheet from the front" the teacher pointing at the desk five desk away from Hu tao "Yeah whatever"Xiao mumbles.

After 15 minutes have gone so detetntion was half way over Hu tao has finally finished the work the teacher had giver her. Hu tao then turned her attention to the front of the room where the detetntion monitor was just to see what she was passed out asleep on her desk Hu tao slightly laughed at this before getting up to put her worksheet on the teachers desk.

Since Hu tao has nothing to do now she was basically bored out of her mind so she shifted her attention to only other person in this room, the edgelord emoboy who was justly simply on his phone. "Maybe I can try getting a long with him? I do have a Ms.Lisa's class with him, maybe he was just having a bad day? yeah thats it that gotta be it" Hu tao though to her self before getting up and taking a seat next to Xiao.

"Uh Hey? Hi" Hu tao says in a cherry and nervous tone getting Xiao's attention "I'll like to say thanks for helping me back there I-". "Go away" Xiao says interupting her "You don't mean that" Hu tao responded "Yeah I do what don't you understand about someone wanting to be alone?". "I mean I guess but when I'm lonely it's just really-". "Shut it" Xiao said coldy "Just becuase you can't stand it doesn't mean someone else doesn't like it now leave..me..alone"

"F-fine be alone who the heck would want to be your friend anyway with an attitude like that" Hu tao responded annoyed but for some reason that setence made Xiao feel a little hurt internally.

"Well detention seems to be going well hehe"

Hu tao and Xiao then turned their heads to the source of the voice "Bennet!? what the hell are you doing here?" Hu tao says quite shocked. "Well wanted to see what the two drama starters are doing after the ruckus you started, the teacher is out cold asleep so I can be here and plus couldn't help hear you arguing with Mr.Edgelord over there" Xiao then turned his attention towards bennet glaring at him. "Yikes the rumors are true you are a bit scary" Bennet says with an giggle."Rumors?" Hu tao questions "Yeah apparently this guy kicked out of two schools for fighting and recently broke two kids skulls open". "Enough" Xiao spoke up "Don't talk about me infront of me unless you want to start somthing".

"Geez alright no need to get hostile unless your trying to get suspended" Bennet says raising his hands in a surrendering way "whats this guys problem?". "I think he just hates the world hehe" Hu tao replied nerviously. "Yeah oh would you look at that detention is almost over" Bennet says as he looks at the clock on the wall "time for me to bounce" he says exiting the room.

After detention was over Xiao and Hu tao just simply went their separate ways. On the way home Xiao couldn't stop thinking of what Hu tao said earlier "who the heck would want to be your friend anyway with an attitude like that" Xiao tried to brush those words out of his mind but kept finding himself thinking about it again and it those words hurt him a bit. When Xiao finally got home and unlcoked the door he sighned knowing he's gonna get a lecture from Zhong li about today. When he stepped inside his thoughts where right becuase as soon as he stepped inside and closed the door behind him he heard Zhong li's voice call out "Xiao have a seat we need to talk".

Xiao sat down with Zhong li sitting infront of him "So I got a call from the school they said you punched someone whats that about?". "It's nothing I just did it to-" Xiao was hesitant to continue "I-I did it to protect someone". "Oh"Zhong li said suprised "Why did you do it to protect this person? is this person your friend? or in fact you like this person". "What no" Xiao said  defensively "Well okay then" Zhong li says before getting up and walking towards the refrigerator. "Thats it? no long lecture no nothing" Xiao questioned "No Xiao you used your fists for somthing reasonable for someone you care about" Zhong li responded. "For the last time I don't- whatever I'll be in my room if you need me" Xiao says getting up and walking up stairs.

As Zhong li sets the ingredients on the counter and turns on the stove he thinks to himself smiling a bit "Maybe that boy is starting to have a change of heart".
