It was the next day and gym class had rolled around "Heyy Hu tao", Hu tao turns her attention away from her locker and to greeted by Xiangling running towards her. "Hey Xiangling what do you need?" "Why weren't you at our usual hangout spot Xingqiu and Chongyun were getting kinda worried and to top it off you didn't answer our text somthing seems fishy". "Oh it's nothing I just got after school detention thats all". "Jeez Hu tao did you take it too far with your pranks again I though you'll keep it to a minium" Xiangling says crossing her arms.

"No its not that I just got into a scuffle with that guy Scaramouche and Xiao saved me" Hu tao says casually expecting nothing from it "WAIT XIAO SAVED YOU" Xiangling says loudly while clinging onto Hu taos arm from the side. "Xiangling it's not that big of a deal" "Not a big deal you got into conflict with Scaramouche out of all people and Xiao saved you that's so romantic like a knight in shining armor". "Ew no way I would ever consider that guy as my knight in shining armor or unless be in a romance with him" Hu tao says while slaming her locker close. Xiangling was about to speak up again then the bell suddely rung "Crap wouldn't want to be late for gym class come on" Hu tao dragging Xiangling with her.

When the duo finally made it outside they were greeted with the other half of their friend group "Finally what took you guys so long" Chongyun says. "Sorry Hu tao and I were lost in our coversation that we forgot about the time hehe" Xiangling says while scratching the side of her head. "Anyway come on Ms.Beidou is about to call attendence heard were playing basketball today".

The group was gathered with the other students as they waited for their gym teacher to start speaking and to give instructions "Alright class today were gonna play basketball and need yall to get into team of two but first I'm gonna call attendence". Hu tao wasn't paying much attention to Ms.Beidou's talking she was just glancing around until she noticed a familiar face. "Xiao!?" Hu tao though "Has he always been in the same gym class as me?". Without realizing Hu tao has been staring at him for quite some time now but then Hu tao was cut out of her trance when Xingqiu slaped her and motioning to the teacher with his eyes. "Hu tao are you here final call". "Ah yes Ms.Beidou I'm here" Hu tao says while raising her hand to get the teachers attention "Good don't know why you didn'y say anything when I first said your name but sure". After checking off Hu tao's name for present and calling other students name she was finally finished with attendence call "Now I'm gonna need you guys to split into two team now go" as she said that the whole groups of students dispersed trying to find themselfs a team.

"So you guys ready for this?" Chongyun say excitingly "I am pretty quite experienced myself". "experienced?" Xingqiu laughed "Beating your cousins that are way younger than you don't count". "Hey shut it like you have any experience yourself" Chongyun spits back while crossing his arms. "Yeah Chongyun Xingqiu has a poing winn- gah" Hu tao stumbled a bit foward as she felt a force bump her from behind. Hu tao then turned around "Huh hey excuse you". Xiao then turned around "Hmm problem?". "Yeah there is a problem do you even have any manners?". "I wouldn't need any if stupid walnuts like you know where they're standing" Hu tao was getting annoyed at this point "What did you call me!?" "You heard me" Xiao had small smirk at the end.

"Come over and say it to my face" Hu tao spat back with annoyance "You really wanna try me I think I'll spare you the embarrassment" Xiao turning is back wallking away. "Thats I'd had it with this guy" Hu tao then procceds to walk towards one of the basketballs thats on the floor "Wait Hu tao what are you doing?" Xiangling questions very concered what her friend is about to do. "Showing that jerk what a walnut can do" Hu tao says before picking up the ball and throwing it at Xiao hitting him on the back of the head.

When Hu tao did that It felt like all eyes were on her like she just done a grave mistake some people were murmering of whats about to happen next. "Hm was that a mosquito bite?" Xiao then turning around to face Hu tao again. "It was me you jerk" Hu tao walking up to Xiao "You really wanna start this?" Xiao says ever so casually which seems to irritae Hu tao more "right here and now". "Heh fine if your really worth my time then I'll face you off on the court" Xiao procceding to walk away again "Are you serious get back here" Hu tao was at her boiling point now.

"Hu tao", she flinched when she felt a hand on her should "Hu tao he's not worth it" Xingqiu says "he's just nothing but trouble". "Yeah you don't have to tell me twice" Hu tao says in a sarcistic tone "and come on were about to start playing".

~12 minutes into the game~

The score was 10 to 9 with Hu tao's team being behind they only have 7 minutes left of the match, then Hu tao was thrown the ball by one of her teammates she wasn't that good at basektball but she definitely wasn't trash. Hu tao took the shot at the net and made it miraculously. "Nice one Hu tao" Xingqiu says while wiping his forhead "Thanks don't mention it" Then Hutao caught Xiao staring "What's wrong can't keep up with a walnut?" she smirked "Just don't push your luck you still need one more" Xiao says coldy while walking back to his team.

As the two teams were starting to play again, Xiao was the one in possesion of the ball so trying to be a good team member she tried taking ball from him. "Looks like you want to win and look cool infront of your friends I could let you if you just ask". "What winning like that won't make me look cool and plus all I care is beating you" Hu tao excalimed. "Well then look over there" as soon as Xiao said that upon natural human instinct Hu tao turned her head away to look at what ever he pointed out just to see nothing and when she snaps around Xiao shoots the ball and he makes it basically declaring his team the win.

"What the you tricked me what the hell" Hu tao says very mad at what Xiao just did, Xiao just scoffed and walked off. "Hey get back here I'm not done wi-" Hu tao was cut off when Xingqiu walked up to her "Hu tao stop its over, I saw what he did but you both played well". "Thanks Xingqiu but man that guy irritaes me I wish I can get back at him".

"If you want to get back at him you know he visits the locker rooms usually after school right" Chongyun suddely appearing out of no where. "Wait how do you know?" Hu tao ask "Seen him there his locker number is 207, great time to pull one of your pranks on him since no teachers are around". Hu tao internially smirked learning this information "will look foward to it".

~After School~

After Hu tao has found Xiao's locker number she was waiting around the corner to jump out at him and scare him, plus she has her phone in hand so he can record it. When she heard foot steps coming towards the locker she grew anxious by the second then she heard the locker door creak open and decides to be a perfect time to him to scare him.

"Boo" Hu tao says jumping out from her hiding spot but rather than getting the reaction she wanted she was stuudenly grabbed by her wristed and pinned against the lockers with a crash. Hu tao winched at the impact her back had on the lockers when she adjusted her eyes open she was greeted with a sight she could never admit to liking. Infront of her was Xiao with wet hair from presumably using the locker room shower and to top it off he was just in his shorts.

Her eyes were locked on to his, his eyes were very pretty now Hu tao has gotten a good look at them like two golden orbs hypnotizing her. Then her eyes traveled down from his eyes to his abs on his torse, he had well build body Hu tao thought to herself, wait what am I- Hu tao quickly snapped out of her thoughs "Get off me creep" Hu tao breaking out of his grasp shoving him back with a very red face.

"Me the creep? your in the boys locker room and you jumped out at me I though I was gonna get jumped" Xiao excalimed but Hu tao couldn't focus her face was growing at redder by the secound her mind rewinding the scene. "Hey are you blushi-" "NO NO I AM NOT" Hu tao says backing away "I-I was just trying to p-prank you by scaring you thats all but seeing that d-didn't work s-so any way BYE" Hu tao quick ran out the door "Shes such a strange girl why was her face red" Xiao though to himself.

As Hu tao was walking away from the locker rooms she had her hands on her face trying stop the redness to increasing "Hu get yourself together".
