Xiao was now lying in his bed staring at his bedroom ceiling, contemplating what he should do. He had just kissed his best friend, and ever since the graduation ceremony which was only a few days after prom night, he hadn't seen Hutao. Xiao had to admit he really miss Huato from her cheerful and joking attitude and some of her teasings as well. Xiao then covered his face with both of his hands and let out a heavy exhale "How am I gonna face her?" he mumbled to himself.

He was fearing the worst of every outcome, what if Hutao didn't want to kiss? and she thinks that he's a creep. Or she thinks that he forced it? Xiao then ruffled his hair in frustration at these thoughts. Then he heard his door creak open, it was his dad. "Something the matter Xiao? you look like you have a lot on your mind" Zhong li then proceeds to sit at the foot of Xiao's bed. Xiao was hesitant to tell his dad what was going on but he has to let it out to someone his dad was probably the best bet so let out an exhale before opening up.

"Dad you remember Hutao right?", Zhong li's interest grew "Oh Ms.Tao what about her? Wait you didn't get her pregnant did you?". Xiao got flustered at his dad's words "What Dad no! It's just I k-kissed her on prom night and I don't have the courage to face her". Xiao now sitting up from his bed but adverting his gaze from his father due to sheer embarrassment. "Oh is that so" Zhong li's voice grew soft "I was in the same shoes as you at one point in my life", xiao then adverted his gaze back at his dad "You were?". "Yes, when I first met my wife" Zhong li then cleared his throat "Xiao I mean to ask do you have feelings for Ms.Tao?", Xiao's face started to heat up at this question he didn't know how he felt about Hutao. He had to admit heart feels very warm and happy whenever he was around her like he could run a marathon back and forth. 

"I don't know how I feel about her", Zhong li raised his brow "Is that so then how do you feel whenever you're around her? Try your best to describe it to me". Xiao was hesitant to answer but eventually gave in "I feel insides feel very warm and giddy like I can do anything in a good way of course along with my face heating up a bit as well, also I really dislike it when others guys talk to her." Zhong li then put his hand on Xiao's shoulder making him look up at him "Xiao I think it's pretty obvious that you like you no one feels like this unless they have feelings for that person". Xiao was thinking about a response but he was too caught up in his thought he was scared that this could possibly ruin their relationship and she never wants to see him again, but he couldn't deny that he really liked her and he wants to be with her along with the fact that he liked the kiss, Xiao's face then grew red at this though which Zhong li noticed.

"Well that answers my question I think that you should tell her how you feel", "What!? no way I doubt that she likes me back" Xiao now averting his eyes on his knees due to embarrassment. "Xiao if you don't tell her now and down the line the future your gonna regret it" After letting those words sink he later realized that his dad was right.

So Xiao mustered up all the courage he had and decided that he was gonna go to Hutao's home by the time he arrived at her front door he was a nervous wreck did she even want to see him again? Xiao let out a exhale before pressing the doorbell. It took some time for the door to be answered and the person who answered was none other than Hutao herself "Xiao!? funny seeing you here what do you need?" Xiao swallowed the salvia clogged in his throat before answering "Can we talk", "Sure come on in my gramps isn't home anyways".

Xiao was now sitting on the couch in the living room of her home he waited for Hutao to finish something up in the kitchen before stepping out to see him. Hutao now sitting on the cushion next to Xiao "so what did you want to talk about?" he was hesitant to answer "Hutao about that incident at prom night" Xiao paused "Hutao I'm very sorry about what I did". Xiao is now looking down at his knees, he felt ashamed but then he felt Hutao put her arm on his shoulder making him look at her, in her eyes.

"Oh that's what this was about, Xiao it's okay I was thinking about coming over to your place to talk about it but seems like you had the idea first but Xiao I didn't really mind the kiss" Hutao paused before continuing her face growing redder by the second "In matter for my first kiss I enjoyed it".

"Hutao" Xiao said softly "I don't know what to say I-" Xiao couldn't find the words to speak then Hutao put her hand on the right side of his cheek making him shiver. "Xiao I-I like you a lot you were there for me when I was at my lowest and I really enjoy spending time with you" Hutao realized what she just said she wanted to crawl into a hole and bury herself in it due to the amount of embarrassment she is feeling.  

"Hutao you're too good for me your a beautiful, sweet, and cheerful girl with an amazing social life while people just see me as a delinquent who beats people up for a living, being with me will just hurt your reputation". Xiao is just thinking about what he just said, he painfully admits that he's right Hutao was a beautiful girl with a joyful personality and she could practically get along with anyone. While everyone just sees him as a no-good violent delinquent which people would whisper about the halls or be scared of whenever he's near.

Xiao was cut out of his thoughts when he felt a soft light press on his lips, he realized that Hutao was kissing him. Xiao's face instantly turned red at this but he eventually kissed her back melting deeper into the kiss, which was way better than the one that had on prom night. Then one kiss led to one another and turned into a little make-out session her lips tasted exactly how he remembered it, like strawberries.

Then eventually pulled apart, they were now nothing breathing heavily while staring into each other's eyes Hutao was the first to speak "Xiao I don't care what others think I'm just happy I get to spend time with you..I-I love you, Xiao". Xiao was shocked at the confession but felt good at the same time "...I love you too Hutao"

After hearing those words Hutao then leaned towards Xiao placing her head on his chest "W-what are you doing?!" Xiao asks while he hesitantly put his arm around her cuddling her, Hutao giggled "Doing what couples do silly cuddling, and plus I'm tired so I need a nap" With that, Hutao snored away in his arms

So were dating now huh

Xiao eventually cuddled her back putting his other arm around her this time and fell asleep with her on the couch.
