'Man why did the Mr.Diluc have to assign this essay last minute' Hu tao though as she slammed her head on infront of her laptop. For the past hour Hu tao has been slaving away at her computer writing a paper for her History project, while Hu tao is a good student certain works can definitely drain the heck out of her.

Then suddenly Hu tao's head shot up when she heard her door bell ring 'right I said Xiao could come over today' she thought. Hu tao then rushed down stairs while skipping a few stairs in the process and reached the front door "Xiao you actually came didn't think you actually show" Xiao had his typically blank expression "I didn't really had much to do so to kill time I chose to hang out with you".

"Aw how considerate any way come on lets head up stairs where the magic happens" Hu tao motioning up him to come up with her as he followed from behind. When they both entered the room Xiao noticed how suprisenly clean the room was especially for someone like her "your room is surprisingly clean" Xiao commented "hey what's that suppose to mean?" Hu tao was annoyed at what he said.

Then Xiao turned head and noticed what was on her laptop "looks like you have a history paper to write I think that's number one priority" Hu tao then pouted at his words "ugh it's mad boring and my brain is all bumed out and plus I have all week to write this thing anyway". Hu tao theb walked towards her bookshelf and picked up a novel "come on lets continue where we left off and maybe you can help me with my paper afterwards".

Hu tao sat down on the head of the bed and patting the space next to her motioning Xiao to come sit down next to her. "Um wouldn't this be better downstairs on the couch?" Xiao scraching the side of his chin. Hu tao proceeded to grin "Aw what's wrong never been in bed with a girl before".

"What..n-no that's not what I was trying to say at all" Xiao was sounded very nervous 'how could she say somthing like that so casually?' Hu tao then giggled at Xiao's reaction "it's funny when your like this" she then held the novel up to her face "come on let's catch up were we left off it was a very intresting cliff hanger".

Without any other choice Xiao sat down on the bed next to Hu tao opening the pages where a bookmark layed showing were they left off..

A few hours has passed Xiao doesn't remember falling asleep he wakes up to light shining through the bedroom window where the sky was turning orange signaling afternoon time was here. He then adverted his eyes from the window to the clock on the bed side drawer, it read 6:27 pm 'jeeze how long was I asleep for?' He though as he tried to get up. Then he was interupted by the recognition of Hu tao curled up next to him with both her legs wrapped around his left one while her arms clinged to him tightly, head resting on his chest.

It was a bit late in the aftertoon the sunshine from the window shining on the both of them lighting them both up. Xiao realized how awkward the situation was and how...suggestive it was too. The girl was pretty much in dolphin shorts and her legs were wrapped around his left one she was pratically tangled with him. Xiao's eyes glanced down at her thighs when he had those thoughts but quickly stopped, he mentally cursed himself for having such lewd thoughts of his only friend.

He's not gonna hear the end of it when she wakes up, Xiao looked down at the girl next to him and admired her face. He had to admit she was cute when she's asleep very different from the annoying little mosquito she is when she's awake. From her light pink lips and soft looking cheeks, Xiao then snapped out of his thoughts he felt warm on the inside like his heart was running on a tredmill his cheeks and the tip of his ears began to heat up as well.

Xiao liked that feeling but hated it at the same time Xiao then looked back at the clock and realzied that its almost seven Zhong li is going to get very worried is he's not home soon. Xiao then every so carefully extratced himself from Hu tao and stood up on the side of the bed.

He missed her warmth

He draped and blanked over Hu tao "sweet dreams" he mumbled before exting her room, But before leaving the house Xiao left a sticky note on her kitchen table saying he had to go home due to the time. On the walk home Xiao couldn't stop thinking what had happen and everytime he did his chest would feel all fuzzy and warm, Xiao tried snapping out of it but found him self returning to those thoughts eventally.

Xiao entered his home where Zhong li was setting dinner down on the table "ah Xiao your finfally home sit down dinners ready". They were both eating until Zhong li broke the silence "Xiao I mean to ask? did you get a girlfriend?" Xiao almost choked on his food he banged his chest to help swallow before speaking up "what? no of course not" Zhong li siped his tea beofre looking at Xiao "so shes not then doyou have a crush on her?". The tip of Xiao's ears were red "no were just friends and plus were did you hear this from?".

Zhong li set his cup down "Madame ping told me, saw both of you guys enter Mr.Tao's house and plus either way it be nice to bring her over". "Dad I think that your looking way into this" Zhong li then chucked a bit "either way no matter what she is to you I'm glad you found someone who you can really trust and that's all I ever hoped from you".

"yeah sure" Xiao then taking his empty plate putting it in the dishwasher before walking up to his room presumably going to bed.
