"Will this be good enough?" Xiao was now standing in front of his mirror in his room making sure his suit was presentable enough for tonight. It was now prom night only 1 hour and 30 minutes till the event truly began and Xiao was trying to look as good as possible. "No no no my hair is too messy I look like I just rolled out of bed" Xiao then scrambles and opens his drawers, pulling out a bottle of hair spray and a comb.

Xiao was now combing his hair and looking at himself in the mirror 'Why am I getting so worked up over this we're just going as friends I don't know why I'm worried if I look impressionable or not'. After Xiao was finished he looked at himself in the mirror one last time 'Good enough he thought before bolting out his door and down the stairs. Xiao was now at the front door putting on his shoes before he was about to leave Zhong li called out to him "You're dressed nicely for the occasion prom I'm guessing?", "Yeah" Xiao replies without taking his eyes off away from tying his shoes. Zhong li crosses his arms "So whos your date? Ms.Tao, I'm guessing" "Yeah" Xiao replied softly, he was now finished tying his shoes and was about to touch the doorknob until Zhong li called out to him again "Before you leave we need to have a quick talk", Xiao internally sighing could only pray what he wanted to talk about.

Xiao now sat on the couch in front of his dad "So what did you want to talk about?" Zhong li cleared his throat "Since you're going out with Ms.Tao it's a good time to talk about the topic of safe sex". Xiao's cheeks instantly flushed red at his father's words "W-what? Dad there's no need we're just going as friends that's all". Zhong li raised a brow "Oh you sure? What if something happens and one thing leads to another", Xiao was embarrassed and uncomfortable as hell right now he just wants to get the heck out of there as quickly as possible. He then got up and walked towards the door "It was nice chatting and all but I don't want to be late" He was now scrambling to get the door open. "And one more thing Xiao you can stop by bubu pharmacy and pick up some condo-" Before Xiao could finish hearing what his dad had to say he closed the door and started walking his cheeks still red.

Hutao had just finished dressing she thinks she looked just alright after the number of hours she had spent getting ready. She was now applying some lipgloss, Hutao never really was a fan of makeup she thinks that she looked fine just the way she is, only for special events she put them on but she never went too overboard. After finishing she darted out the door and walked downstairs "So gramps how do I look" her grandpa simply smiled back "You look wonderful Hu come on let's take a photo It is great for memory". After the picture was taken Hutao scurried toward the door for her Uber waiting outside, "and one more thing Hu" She then turned "Hm?" "No funny business with your date okay" Hutao's face had a slight tint of pink when she heard this "gramps It's not like that I promise" her grandpa then had a small smirk before walking up the stairs "sure whatever you say" Hutao walked out the door then leaned against it, exhaling before walking towards her uber.

After exiting her Uber she looked at the building where the prom was being held she can already see light shooting out along with hearing loud music blasting out of the building 'This what people are listening to these days?' She thinks to herself before walking towards the front entrance.

She pushed the front door open there were a bunch of students just partying, eating food, and drinking all sorts of stuff and a few teachers were there as well. "OH, MY GODDD YOU ACTUALLY CAMEEE" Xiangling ran up to Hutao and hugged her "You look so pretty" Hu tao was trying her best not to suffocate from being hugged too tightly by her friend "Uh thanks Xiangling but can you ease it off I'm trying to breath". "Oh sorry hehe" She cleared her throat "Come on this way Chongyun and Xingqiu are this way" Xiangling then took her hand in hers and guided or literally dragged her towards them.

Xingqiu and Chongyun were both at the booth where they served drinks and food "Ah Hutao you finally made it". "Of course, I did Xingqiu anyways your suit looks nice" He then took a sip of his fruit punch before responding "Thanks Hutao your dress looks fancy too unlike Chongyun's" Xingqiu was trying not to laugh at the last part which annoyed Chongyun a bit more than his comment already has. "Ha ha very funny, this suit used to belong to my dad when he went to prom and it's still in great condition" Chongyun then ate another chip before adverting his attention to Hutao "Anyways where's your date?".
