Dipper leaned down on the table smiling at Mabel.
"How could you live in this town and not believe in junk like that," Mabel showed a smile.
Mabel explained some of the interesting things that her and her brother have encountered including some interesting things with vampires that Dipper wasn't exactly aware of. An hour ticked by. Once the time was up Dipper had Mabel on his side of the booth leaning up against him. Extremely uncomfortable, he scooted away playing off as taking a sip of the Pitt cola they had ordered in their time together. Dipper was bored out of his mind listening to the long list of things he had lived through before though he noticed she left out the whole thing about Grunkle Stan's mind. He guessed she didn't want to bring back the horrific memory of Stan in those short shorts. Lost in thoughts, he over heard Mabel's stories catching up to recent time.
"And then he told me he needed all 3 of the journals," she said, "but I don't know where to look, or where to find them, I don't even know where to start!"
This was Dippers time, "Maybe we could work, you know, together, on finding the journals. I think we need all the help we can get in saving your your perfect, handsome, brother, don't you?"
"You really mean it?" Mabel smiled.
Dipper nodded his head, the 2 kids ran out of the restaurant on their way back to the shack, as the clock struck 10:30.
