Dipper walked through the living room and scowled at Stans sleeping body "Thanks for nothing you sneaky, evil, discussing man." he whispered giving Stan a curtain gesture with his non broken arm.

Dipper made his way to the vending machine and remembered that he had no idea what the code was. Last time he just hit his journal across it and some how figured it out with luck. Dipper soon found that his luck was a one time thing, he tried hitting the key board again and again but nothing was right.

Dipper sat on the counter of the store and thought about his predicament, he swing his back pack off his arm and set it down beside him, slipping his journal out of the back along with the back light.

Dipper flipped through the pages until he made it to the one that resembled the portal that was in his very own bacment. He shined the black light on the pages and reread the words. "Portal to the other side." He whispered. He skimmed the page and made it to a sentence he'd never seen before at the very bottom, he read aloud to him self, " '618 will start but there is 4, the number of words will open up the door...' since when did the author talk in rhymes?"

Dipper put the book down and put in 6, 1, 8, then 4, being the only other number in the poem. When that failed he brushed his hand against the page over the words and read again. 'The number of words I read.' Dipper counted the number of letters in the poem but that was to high too big to fit.

Suddenly Dipper had an idea. Now he counted the number of letters in the sentence he'd been investigating on the same page. Dipper put in the 4 numbers and the door cracked open. 6, 1, 8, 5.
