Dipper followed the path for hours like he was told. He eventually got to a point where he could hardly see. Dipper didn't know much about this dimension so he wasn't sure how the Suns rays even got here, but he did know that even with how well he was holding up he needed to rest.
Though Dipper didn't want to stop. There was some thing about this place, besides the homisidle triangle demon that had once before killed him, that just seemed not right. Every turn of the path made Dippers heart skip a beat almost as if some thing had always vanished right before he was in eye shot of it. He resisted taking a rest for another few minutes but the bags on eyes kept pulling his eye lids down. Dipper sat next to a tree a put his head on it. He thought about Wendy and wondered how Mabel was... that bothered him. How was Mabel? Alone with his back stabbing uncle. Dipper was too tired to dwell on that for much longer. He had made the mistake of falling asleep in the unknown territory.
About 3 miles behind Dipper his family was asleep as well... Well most of it. Mabel was sound asleep laying on the grass in the trees with Stans jacket over her to keep her warm. Stan was not asleep. He knew he couldn't. He knew the danger of the woods here. Besides, he had been here before.
