"This isn't for the shack, that won't be open for a few days I'm going to Wendy's wake today" Stan started "I didn't know how to tell you guys. I knew neither of you would be able to make it. They say she had a heart attack, I'm sorry you kids had to find out this way."

Mabel forgot about this. Bill had already told her but her mind was more focused on her resurrected brother than Wendy. Stand attention shifted from Mabels frown to Dippers shocked face.

"Hey kid, when did you wake up?" Dipper ignored Stans comment and walked out of the room, putting his had on the wall for balance. Mabel followed him so Stan was left in the kitchen alone.

Mabel reached the bed room where she found Dipper who was looking through this journals. Under his eyes were puffy and his face was bright red.

"Dipper what are you doing?" Dipper Put the book down and started at Mabel "I'm going to get Wendy back."

Mabel sat down next to him on his bed.

"Dipper you have no idea what she's done for you, going out and ruining your chance of recovery is not a good way to honor her memory?"

Dipper looked confused. "What do you mean?" Mabel explained what Bill had told her. Dipper put his hands up to his eyes, Mabel acted by putting her hand on his back.

"That's why I have to do it." Dipper started. "She's the reason I'm alive."

Dipper pulled off his shirt off and put on his red shirt. He sqiled trying to pull it over his broken arm.

He then put on his blue vest and started to grab his pine tree hat. Mabel walked in front of him

"You can't do this Dipper your too weak. You don't even know how to start!" Dipper wiped his eyes and showed Mabel the page in the journal that he had left open.

"What are you talking about? That's the same page you've started at for hours." Dipper stayed silent and put on the black light on his desk. There was now a bright purple sentence across the page that read 'portal to the other side'
