Returning through the blinding light

(Please keep in mind that I wrote all of this long before Stanley's backstory was revealed so a lot is different lmao)

A few hours later Stan called up stairs to the twins to tell them that Dinner was ready, but when only Mabel came down Stan was a little worried.

"Where's your brother?" he asked. "Who cares." Mabel grumbled. Stan lifted his eye brows at Mabel and stared at her, "Mabel I'm serious." He said firmly.

"Who knows. I think he's going crazy. He could be any where, that fall did a lot more to him then just break his arm. He said he's on some mission to 'the other side' apparently there's some 'portal in our basement,'" Mabel let out a little laugh but Stan immediately went into a panic. He grabbed his black jacket off the hook next to the door and put it over his body.

"Have you seen my pants?" He asked putting on his fez.

"N-no, where are you going?" Mabel asked. Stan looked around the corner for the hall way and grabbed his pants off the shelf in the room, then looked back at Mabel.

"To the other side. I didn't want you to find out this way but-- follow me." Her now fully dressed uncle lead her to the vending machine and put in a code much to long to be for any candy and the machine came off the wall. Mabel gasped.

He lead her down a stair case and followed the same path Dipper had followed just hours earlier and into the room with the portal.

"And I though Dipper was crazy... What is this place?" Mabel asked scanning the room.

"It was my brothers. We had a... 'club' type thing years ago. Now now it's just a crazy basement with a portal.... to the other side." Stan sounded so confident in what he was saying, though his voice tone sounded scared and even kind of sad.

After a few seconds of silence Stan walked through the portal and into the blinding light. Mabel following behind him.
