What's going on here?

The feeling slowly came back. Starting out in my toes and working it's way up to my knees. So far I felt nothing out of the ordinary other than the fact that I was not on a bed. Feeling made it's way up to my hips. I wanted to let out a sigh of relief that there was nothing hurting below the waist. Than I felt it in my finger tips and halfway up to my waist. The pain didn't come until I had feeling everywhere and I tried to move my right shoulder. The pain could have been worse. But from how much it hurt I knew it wasn't cleaned. I wanted to open my eyes and wake up from this nightmare. Travis betrayed our friendship. And I really don't know why. I hadn't done anything wrong. He said he forgave me for not telling him who my family was. I thought everything was fine. There is no way this is getting me back. Getting me back would have been....I don't know not getting my lunch from the lunch room and making me wait in the long line that shows up by the time I get there....or...pulling a prank on me by super glueing my locker shut. This...this was farther than that. There is no way this was him. But I mean Dad would get here soon right? He had to!  I'll spend half of the day here tops. And he'll be here and everything will go back to normal. Yep that's definetly what's gonna happen.

-TONYS POINT OF VIEW-

"Do you know anything about Travis?" Fury asked me while sipping some coffee. Just as everyone else was. Well except Pepper. She had fallen asleep and was now crashed and asleep in my lap. I rocked back and forth with Pepper in my arms trying to think about Travis.

"Marissa continuosly said that he wouldn't tell her anything about his family. Not even his last name," I whispered and looked down. Toke was asleep on the floor by Thor who was sitting with his head in his hands. Nobody knew what to do now.

"Okay, Agent Adams!" He called to one of the random agents walking around.

"Yes sir." He stood there waiting for orders.

"Get me all males named Travis from Manhattan high. I want their adresses, last names, everything you can on them." Adams nodded and hurried to a computer, "That'll take a few hours but we're going to find her." He muttered and got up and walked away. I wanted to blame myself for not knowing that this would happen. But for some reason the only person I could blame was Hammer. Though that should be normal...I don't know. I'm rambling.   I don't know what to do. I could look for him but we have no idea where he is.

We sat around for hours. I sat there waiting for Pepper to wake up and I watched as everyone just looked around. Seeming so dull. Seeming so dead.

-MARISSA POINT OF VIEW-

I don't know how many hours I had been laying here but what I did know was that I really needed to move.  I opened my eyes and saw what I expected I guess. A room, a white, cold, damp room. Far from clean. Atleast the walls weren't gray. I got up slowly and started walking around trying to remember what Natasha had taught me.

----------

"If something happens you need to memorize your surroundings."

"What do you mean?" I asked while laying upside down on the couch as she practiced.

"Like...okay you know the way you memorize a song and could do it in your sleep?" I nodded, "Well you need to be able to see that room in your mind. Perfectly. Know where every single nook and cranny is.  Being prepared is the best you can be when stuck in a hostage situation where all you can do it wait."

------------------------

I walked around and felt the different temperatures in different spots. A small bump and a small indent on one wall. Peeling paint on another. How the floor raised ever so slightly as it got closer to the door. And the thing that was going to get me out of here. The small crack inbetween the door frame and the door. Nothing was stopping me from leaving. If my dad couldn't save me I sure as hell wasn't going to wait around for me to die. Before I got a chance to create any sort of plan a man with blond hair and glasses walked in, "Hello Marissa."

"Who are you?" I snapped back.

"Me? How do you not know who I am? I am Justin Hammer...I am- WAS. your fathers biggest competiter...Now well...now I'm going to be on top." He grabbed me and dragged me down a series of hallways.  He threw me down in the middle of a large room.

"Now. You listen, and you listen good. I'm going to kill you. I'm going to kill you ever so slowly. Every bone in your body is going to break. No part of you is going to be unscarred. You are going to die a slow and painful death. Until you're begging me to just end it." I swallowed loudly. I don't think he was liying. I was going to die.
