My palms began sweating as we met all the rest backstage. Thor was the first to come over to me and hug me in a comforting way. I smiled knowing that he and I had grown closer, it felt good to be able to have someone to act like an idiot with.
"You will be okay little one." He murmured into my hair. I squeezed him tighter feeling safety. After tonight everyone would know that I was living with Tony Stark. The world famous Tony Stark. And my life would definetly never be the same.
"What if everyone hates me and trys to kill me?" I asked, feeling nauscious.
Steve and Clint both chuckled and my sillyness. I rolled my eyes and looked at Tony for support. He smiled and came over to me hugging me, "What's gonna happen is I'm gonna go out there, talk for a few minutes. Than you'll see me motion Pepper. Pepper will talk, than I'll motion for you. You'll come out with everyone else. Okay?" I nodded and hugged him one last time. I felt my breathing start to pick up. I stood there, clutching my dress, I began to break out in a cold sweat, and my breathing became ragged. I heard nothing. I couldn't move, I didn't want this. I didn't want anyone to know. I had to do something, but I couldn't move. I felt someones arm on my shoulder, and my legs started moving. But I wasn't controlling them. We walked on stage, I heard nothing but I saw all the people, all the screaming people. Why are they screaming? I saw Tony talking into a microphone. Smiling at me. I swallowed. He came over to me put an arm on my shoulder and kissed my head. He said something and looking at me winking. More words were spoken, people in the crowd were smiling, some glaring, some looking blank. I was confused, I didn't ask for this. Why are people reacting this way? Why can't they just leave everyone alone and focus on their own lives? I continued to stand there, when the tunnel vision started. I couldn't pass out now! That would not be a good thing! Once again Tony put am arm on my shoulder, and led me off stage. The tunnel vision grew, I was going to pass out, I was dizzy and backstage. Everyone was screaming, I saw their lips moving, I felt hands on my shoulders, slowly their faces disapeared, and everything went black.
I woke up hearing a beeping, feeling a headache, and people murmuring.
"Why did she pass out Bruce?"
"She was just scared, she wasn't able to handle that. It was too much to put her through."
Someone groaned, "I hate my now fired publicist for telling the world. She'll be okay right?"
"Yeah, she's just...shooken up. She'll be fine to do the father daughter thing you want to do today, just make sure she eats. She needs protien. Shes underweight right now. Only by about 5 pounds, but she needs nutrients. It's almost like she isn't eating at school. 2 meals a day for a teenager with a fast metabolism is not a good thing."
"She doesn't tell us anything."
"She's a very introverted person Tony. Calm down, and let her tell you things on her own. She'll tell you things in time. Oh, the test results are back. Your supicisions are right. Savannah's the mother, and you're her dad."
"I don't think you understand how happy that makes me."
"Why?"
"Because I want her to know she has atleast one parent who loves her. One parent who wants to see her happy in life."
"Tony she doesn't need blood related family. She just needs people around her who support her and love and accept her for who she is."
"I want her to have the world."
"Don't spoil her now."
Tony snorted, "Please I already have. That reminds me, her letters for the colleges she applied for are here, I want to give them to her today to open when we go to lunch."
