A twist in an average girls story[[Completed]]

No this wasn't a date with you and some friends

"Hey Travis! Marissa!" Jr yelled. I rolled my eyes. He's been trying since Wednesday to say something to us and it's starting to get annoying. Every time he chickens out, says never mind, and runs away. 

"Yeah?" Travis said. I glanced around and saw Steve waiting for me. I sighed.

"Uhm..guys I'll be right back I gotta call my dad..."

"Wait! Find out what Jr wants first!" Travis rushed. He looked at one of Jr's friends...oh so Travis has a little crush!

"So I was wondering if you guys maybe wanted to hang out? We could chill at the park for a little while then maybe go get something to eat or something!" He rushed out while scratching his head.  I looked at Travis, he nodded his head, so I agreed. 

"Yeah sure, just let me go let my brother know that I'm hanging out after school."

"He can hang out too!" Jr said.

"No, he uhm...he never has time. He picks me up and we usually go home and he goes to work so I'll be back." I ran over to Steve. thanking the gods that he decided to wear a hat and a sweater.

"Hey kiddo, who are those people?"

"Friends, I wanna hang out. Jr wants us to hang out and Travis wants to and Travis doesn't know that you're captain america. He ya know thinks what everyone wanted me to say so uhm..I need you to leave please?" 

He sighed, "You really want to hang out?"

I nodded, "Yeah. Travis wants to and I really want to try and make some friends...besides it's not like my last year of highschool needs to suck that bad right?" 

"Call Tony Squirt." He smiled and pulled me into a hug. I nodded and pulled him up in the contacts.

"Hey kiddo"

"Hey dad...uh, so is it ok if I hang out with some friends?"

"Who? Well Jr asked Travis and I if we wanted to hang out and Travis wants to and I wanna make some friends my age..." I heard him sigh and say something to Pepper, than I heard a smack. Meaning he said something and Pepper didn't like it, at alll, "Go ahead kiddo. But be call by 8 and we'll come pick you up. I don't want you walking these streets."

"Ok I can do that, thankyou so so so so much."

"Of course. Talk to you soon, bye."

"Bye," I looked at Steve and hugged him, "Steve what if I make friends? How awesome would that be? Having friends here in New York that I don't have to fly in a privet Jet two hours to see?" He smiled and kissed my head.

"See ya when you get home squirt."

"See you soon." I ran back over to Travis and Jr, while almost tripping on my face a few time, "I can hang out." I smiled. They smiled, well Travis squealed and dragged me over to Jrs other friends.

"Ok, this is Niko, Tom, Sam, Timothy but we call him Tad. And guys you probably already know them but this is Marissa and Travis." I nodded my head and we gave a round of nice to meets you's. We all sat down. We sat there for a few minutes in silence not to sure what to say. Jr broke the silence, "So Marissa, hows your family?" 

I looked at him confused, "Uhm...fine? Dad's been really busy lately." I muttered and started picking at the grass. Did jr tell anyone about my family? I really hope not. I mean I know that one day they all say Steve and I but I just prayed that they wouldn't say anything.

"Why?" Travis asked.

I shrugged trying to find the words to say that still gave everyone an answer but still keeping it vauge, "Just alot of projects and ideas and everything."
