The entire Avengers team, plus Pepper, and I were all on Tonys private jet, heading out to California. I sat in my seat net to Loki nervously. My hands were twitching, and I was freezing. I would never admit it though. Everyone here had enough on their plate, and I felt as though I was just adding more stress to each and every one of them.

"Are you nervous?" Loki asked, his voice made me jump. I had been so lost in my own thoughts that I had forgotten that I was sitting next to someone.

"Yeah alittle bit." I said. I felt the goosebumps rise on my arm as the A/C turned on towards my seat.

"Are you cold?" He whispered. I didn't answer and pretended I didn't hear him. I felt his arm go over my shoulder, I jumped and got scared, until I noticed he was putting a blanket around me. I looked at him and smiled in a way to say thankyou. I hadn't spoken much since the day we decided that Tony would adopt me. Everyone had tried to talk to me, but I just wasn't ever sure what to say. I'd never been good with conversation, but now my little conversation skills seemed to be dwindling. Like they were hanging out a cliff and dropping off one by one. Loki gave me a worried glance, and excused himself. Not even a minute later Tony came over and say down.

"How ya doing squirt?" I shrugged my shoulders and looked out the window, wandering how much longer we had to be in this plane. I was tired of sitting down and I really just wanted to find out why everything was turning out the way it was. He sighed and excused himself as Loki did. Once again someelse traded places. This time it was Steve.

"Hey beautiful." I nodded my head in recognition and continued to stare out the window and hugged the blanket closer to me. I was scared, and I didn't know how to say it, "How ya holding up?" He asked. I shrugged and laid my head against the window. He patted my shoulder and left. This continued until every single person came over to try to get me to talk. In the end, after I heard constant bickering, and a very angry Pepper, Tony came back over. He looked at me, and sat down next to me slowly. After a few minutes he grabbed my hand, I jumped and looked at him,

"Look I know you're probably scared, but you need to know that none of us can help you if you don't tell us what's wrong." I looked at him, trying to find some words to say. But nothing was coming out. It was like all my words were gone, along with my conversational skills.

I sighed, "I'm at a loss of words." I mumbled and looked down, the tears still haven't come out and my body was definetly taking a toll, but I just couldn't cry. I didn't sleep last night, and I didn't want to disturb any one.

"You look exhausted. How did you sleep last night?" Tony asked, making me look at him.

"I didn't." He sighed and got up, Bruce came back for the second time. I figured Tony was angry so I didn't say anything.

"Do you have a history of not being able to sleep?" He asked.

I nodded my head.

"Do you know if Tony has access to your medical records?" I shook my head, "Do you have your social security number?" He asked. I nodded and he motioned for Tony to come over. Before they could look through my records, it was time to sit down and buckle up. Finally the plane ride was over. It was alot let time and alot faster but it was still about 2 hours. We got out of the plane and got to a very large van. I looked longingly at the steering wheel. I would give anything to drive. I was so close to getting my license before all of this happened...

Natasha noticed my stare and came over to me, "You like driving?"

I smiled, "I love driving."

"Would you like to drive?" My eyes went wide in shock, "Well you are the only person that really knows how to get to your house.." She hinted loudly, I'm assuming to Tony would notice. I think he did, because he and Pepper came over.

"Do you have your permit?" Pepper asked. I pulled it out of my bag and showed them. Pepper smiled and took the keys out of Tony's hands. I smiled and looked at them, then back at Tony to double check to make sure that I was allowed to. Any feeling of tiredness washed away the moment he nodded his head and smiled at me. I booked it to the drivers seat, as everyone else piled in. Tony got into the seat next to me.

"Any specific music choice?" He asked me.

"Uhm...well I would play my ipod but I don't think anyone else would like my music..."

"Please you're the driver! you decide!" I laughed, "No body would mind?" I asked.

"Nope!" They said...not all at the same time, but basically they all said they didn't care. I plugged in my ipod, and started the car. I had no idea what I wanted to listen to, so I just put it on random and drove off.
