Lord Richard William Carey takes his second cousin, Lord Andrew Charles Howard around Bedford Territory to find their new home in Bedford Territory.
Lord Richard William Carey knows every homeowner in Bedford Territory and he knows the perfect manor for Lord Andrew Charles to buy for Lady Karissa as their wedding present.
The manor is in the foothills of Bedford Territory and not far from Bedford Castle where he lives as Duke of Bedford Territory.
It only had one owner, but the owner and his wife had no grandchildren to pass it to, so they have decided to sell it as their own children don't want it.
The manor is made of white marble from Rigel Seven, a United Federation of Planet Colony and it has beautiful grounds and lawns, and it is surrounded by beautiful gardens, man-made creeks, and meadows with flowers.
Lord Jerome Bixby and his wife, Lady Mary are getting up in age and they want a smaller home to live in and they have decided to sell the manor and everything in it, but for their pictures, personal belongings, and family heirlooms.
Lord Richard William Carey walks in with Lord Andrew Charles and Lord Richard William explains to Lord Bixby "This is my second cousin, Lord Andrew Charles Howard."
"What price are you asking?" Lord Andrew Charles asks.
"Lord Howard. My good wife and I are selling our home to move to a smaller home." Lord Bixby explains.
"We have had this home since 2240." Lord Bixby states " Our home is now only 45 years old."
"My wife and I are asking for 50,000 credits and everything is included." Lord Bixby explains.
"The manor comes with everything but our personal effects, heirlooms, and such like. It is fully staffed. I would ask that you keep the staff." Lord Bixby asks.
"I guarantee you that, Lord Bixby. My Duchess wouldn't want to see anyone displaced." Lord Andrew Charles tells him.
"I think this is worth more than 50,000 credits and I will give you 100,000 credits for it." Lord Andrew Charles states.
Lord Bixby looks at Lord Andrew Charles " You are most generous, Lord Howard and I am sure that your Duchess will love this manor as much as my wife and I loved it. You see none of our children wanted it and we have no grandchildren yet." Lord Bixby explains
"This manor has two flower gardens, a vegetable garden, a fruit garden, and green-house." Lord Jerome explains.
"It has five servant quarters, a large kitchen, an informal dining room, a formal dining room, living room, music and library and study." Lord Jerome states.
"Upstairs in the South wing it has four large suites with bathrooms, an adjourning suite for any children and a small room for the nannies." Lord Jerome explains.
"The West Wing has three large suites and two bathrooms, and a private drawing room." Lord Jerome explains.
"The East wing has another three suites and two bathrooms, a small library and drawing room." Lord Jerome explains.
"We seldom used the North Wing we did in the summer." Lord Jerome explains.
"I am sure that my Duchess will love it." Lord Andrew Charles states. He takes out his checkbook and writes out a check for the amount of 100,000 credits and he hands it to Lord Bixby.
"I will have my barrister transfer the title of the Estate to Lady Karissa, my Duchess." Lord Andrew Charles tells him" But take your time in moving."
Lord Andrew Charles Howard and Lord Richard William Carey depart and they take the picture of the new manor back to Norfolk Estate and Lord Andrew Charles and Lord Richard William walk into the drawing room where Lady Karissa is holding Lady Elizabeth and Lord Charles Andrew JR is sitting there as well.
