Lord Andrew Charles Howard would do anything to attract Karissa Elizabeth Ann Lowell to him, so he shed his regency appearance and decided to convert to a new 20th century look during the the roar-twenties.
Lord Andrew Charles Howard knew little about the roaring twenties and the golden age of F. Scott Fitzgerald Scott, or how so many of The English aristocrats married the Million Dollar babies to maintain their property in England.
Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR sees his son's new look and he asks " Why the new look Lord Andrew Charles Howard?"
"I will do anything to attract Karissa Elizabeth Ann Lowell to me, father." Lord Andrew Charles states.
"Lord Andrew Charles Howard. Karissa Elizabeth Ann Lowell is not one of the million dollar babies from the 1920''s but I know four of their names one was Consuelo Vanberbilt, Jennie Jerome, Mary Victoria Leiter and I forgot the other one." Lord Charles Andrew Howard states.
"I don't care about that father. You had two other sons and they didn't haven't give you your damn first male line grandchild until you got it. I won't stop hearing about it." Lord Andrew Charles states.
"Have you seen the girls here in this territory and all the other territories?" Lord Andrew Charles states.
"I wouldn't marry one of them for all the money and titles on Star Base 12." Lord Andrew Charles tells his father.
"All these silly vain women do match around in the fancy apparel and bat their eyelashes at me." Lord Andrew Charles states, "Their father's want a title for their daughters."
"How do you know that they can have children?" Lord Andrew Charles asks "You see that your two older sons have no children when you arranged their marriages with their fathers."
"I won't marry anyone unless I love them." Lord Andrew Charles tells his father.
"Lord Richard Edward Howard II and Lord David William Beck feel the same way that I do." Lord Andrew Charles states.
Lord Richard Edward Howard II is carrying the torch for Susan Virginia Bell and Lord David Willliam Beck is carrying the torch for Katherine Grace Kelly." Lord Andrew Charles states.
"All three have been certified by the United Federation of Planets to be fertile and free from long term side effects of and from radiation sickness. "Lord Andrew Charles tells his father.
Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR looks at his youngest son, " Your damn mother spoiled you, Lord Andrew Charles Howard." Lord Charles Andrew JR states.
"Father. It was no big secret that my mother and you didn't love each other when you two married way back in 2228." Lord Andrew Charles states.
"You loved Lady Charlotte Augusta Beck, the daughter of the Viscount of Elmhurst Estate and mother loved Lord Phillip, Count of Valois and neither you were allowed to marry the person that you loved, so you two just muddle through a sham of a marriage." Lord Andrew Charles states.
"Do you see how miserable Lord Charles Andrew III is with the woman you married him to?" Lord Andrew Charles asks.
"Lord Patrick William II and Lady Paulina may seem happy in their marriage, but for 14 years no children." Lord Andrew Charles states.
"I was not even eight years old when Lord Patrick William Howard II was married and it is now 2274 and he is 34 years old and she is nearly 32 years old." Lord Andrew Charles states.
"Lord Charles Andrew III is now 44 years old and she is nearly 42 years old and the only way you will get a child out of Lord Charles Andrew Howard III is remarry him to a younger woman who is 20 years younger than he is." Lord Andrew Charles states.
"I don't approve of your new image, but you are not a child anymore, Lord Andrew Charles." Lord Charles Andrew JR tells his son.
"I am sorry father that you don't, but maybe just maybe it will attract Karissa to me and once you get your first male line grandchild. You will be quiet." Lord Andrew Charles tells his father.
"Or you give this damn Dukedom and Territory to Lord Richard William Carey who is next in line to inherit it." Lord Andrew Charles states.
"Since my worthless great-grandfather and grandfather disinherited Lord Frederick William II and his issue and my worthless grandfather, Lord Andrew Charles Howard disinherited both my uncles and their issue. That only leaves Lord Thomas William Howard." Lord Andrew Charles states.
"Lord Richard William Carey and Lord Thomas William Howard are unmarried too, and they have no potential suitors." Lord Andrew Charles states.
Lord Andrew Charles walks out of the drawing room but before he does he bows to his father and he exits the drawing room.
When he walks out he is met by his two first cousins, Lord Richard Edward Howard II and Lord David William Beck.
All three are dressed like young men from the roaring twenties and Lord Charles Andrew JR shakes his head.
Lord Andrew Charles Howard is after Karissa Elizabeth Ann Lowell, Lord Richard Edward Howard II is after Susan Virginia Bell and Lord David William Beck is after Katherine Grace Kelly.
Lord David William Beck has gained consent from Lord Richard William Carey to come to Bedford Territory with Lord Andrew Charles Howard and Lord Richard Edward Howard II to visit Karissa, Katherine and Susan once more.
All three are outside in the garden when they arrive and Lord Richard William tells them " You are your own gentlemen."
All three walk towards the garden and Lord Richard Edward II calls out " May we come into the garden."
"The door is open." Katherine calls out.
Beatrice tells Karissa ' Look Karissa." Beatrice tells her.
Karissa turns around " Oh my Goddess. I can't believe this. They have dressed like us. They don't even know anything about the Planet Earth we have come from." Karissa tells her friends.
"I don't even know why they have changed their appearance unless it's to attract us to them." Susan tells her friends.
Karissa looks at them " Why did you go and change your appearance?" Karissa asks them.
"Lord Andrew Charles. You know nothing about The Planet Earth we have come from. "Karissa explains.
"Fashions come and go. We can change our clothes but we can't into something we aren't." Karissa explains.
"My friends can change our clothes, but it doesn't change who we are and won't change that we don't want to marry into the aristocracy." Karissa explains.
"It is not that you are not handsome because you are. We just aren't interested right now." Karissa explains.
"It doesn't mean that we won't be interested later on. " Karissa tells Lord Andrew Charles.
Karissa, Susan, and Katherine look at all of them " Girls just want to have fun."
Karissa, Susan, Katherine, Beatrice start to dance around in the garden and Lord Andrew Charles, Lord Richard Edward Howard II and Lord David Willliam Beck watch them dance around in the garden.
Lord Richard William Carey watches and Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley walks in with two of his friend, Lt. Richard William and Lt. Mark Smith and Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley walks up " Hey Karissa, Katherine, Susan, Beatrice, do you want to go to the dance with us at Star-Fleet Academy?"
"Why not, Kevin. It sounds like great fun." Karissa tells Kevin and they all head off for the Star-Fleet Dinner and Dance.
It is the best time that Karissa, Susan, Katherine and Beatrice ever had since they first arrived on Star Base 12.
