The Summons

Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR is the patriarch of The Howard family on Star Base 12 and he is the eldest male line great-grandson of Lord Patrick William Howard and through his son, Lord Frederick William Howard and his second son, Lord Charles Andrew Howard SR who replaced his oldest brother, Lord Frederick William Howard II in the line of succession for The Dukedom and Territory of Norfolk.

Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR is now The Duke of York Territory, but he is still head of the Howard family and he receives the letter from his son, Lord Andrew Charles about Lord Richard Willliam Carey behavior toward Lady Karissa while he was at Pembroke Territory.

From York Territory, Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR travels to Norfolk Estate that is the ancestry home of The Howard family and where most of The Howards have been born since 2165.

Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR summons his first cousin twice removed, Lord Richard William Carey, Duke of Bedford Territory to Norfolk Estate and asks his two older sons to travel with Lord Richard William Carey into Norfolk from Bedford Territory.

"Don't cross over the border into Bedford Territory." Lord Charles Andrew JR tells his two older sons, "Let Lord Richard William Carey cross the border into Norfolk Territory."

Lord Richard William Carey travels from Bedford Territory and when he sees his two second cousins standing at the border of Bedford and Norfolk, he crosses over and Lord Charles Andrew III tells him " Our father sent us to make sure you are given safe passage into Norfolk Territory and he is waiting to see you at Norfolk Estate."

Lord Charles Andrew Howard III and Lord Patrick William Howard II see that their second cousin arrives safely at Norfolk Estate and when they arrive they lead Lord Richard William Carey into the drawing room of Norfolk Estate where Lord Charles Andrew JR is sitting and he looks up at his first cousin twice removed, Lord Richard William Carey and tells him " Lord Andrew Charles told me you had a disagreement with the mother of my heiress, Lady Elizabeth."

"Lord Charles Andrew JR. I tried to apologize to Lady Karissa, but she would not grant me an audience and told me to wait until she returned to Beltane Manor next year." Lord Richard William states.

"It is her prerogative to refuse you an audience, Lord Richard William Carey." Lord Charles Andrew JR tells him.

"She is the Marchioness of Pembroke and she can do whatever she wants." Lord Charles Andrew JR tells him.

"She doesn't have to see you even at Beltane Manor." Lord Charles Andrew JR states " You have no authority at Beltane Manor as it is a private estate."

"Furthermore, she is the Duchess of Norfolk Territory and the mother of the Future Duchess of Norfolk, the mother of The Duchess of Clarence and Duke of Lancaster Territory." Lord Charles Andrew JR explains.

"Listen here, Lord Richard William Carey, my aunt married your great-uncle and my damn father fought for the marriage and I love your grandfather."Lord Charles Andrew JR states.

"My boy. You are not married and if you don't marry and have a child, what your great-great-great-grandfather, Lord John Carey will end with you." Lord Charles Andrew JR explains.

"The Dukedom of Bedford Territory will only continue through the female line of your great-aunt." Lord Charles Andrew JR states.

"Your father had a sister, his father had a sister too, and so did his father had a sister, and his father." Lord Charles Andrew JR states "You have a sister too."

"Do you want to see what your great-great-great-grandfather started in 2165 end just because you haven't found a wife yet?" Lord Charles Andrew JR asks.
