Violets POV

It was around ten thirty, leaving only around half an hour left of my shift and then I could go. I was wiping down tables humming the tune to road runner, a song that the pistols had been practicing on repeated yesterday.

"Webb. Come ere" Came the voice of my boss Oliver,

"Yes Sir" I answered approaching him,

"As much as I do love your... unique sense of style. I do have to tell you it's against our dress code regulation" he said, his eyes flicking down at my chunky platform shoes,

Violet's Outfit:

"What, my boots?" I asked, turning my gaze to them,

"Not that they don't look smashing on you. But you know the rules" he smirked, leaning against the bar,

"It's also against regulation to flirt with the staff but that never seems to stop you" I remarked crossing my arms over my chest,

Oliver shifted slightly, his usually cocky act dropping for a second as he fumbled on how to respond.

"I better get cleaning, it's almost closing time. And also Oliver, my eyes are up here"
I pointed, blowing him a sarcastic kiss before leaving him stood there like a mug,

He's such a prick, and I wasn't the only waitress in this place he treated like some object put on this earth for him to gawk at. I quickly finished up before grabbing my bag and leather coat wanting to be out of this place as soon as possible and back in my warm bed at home.

I stood at the bus stop shivering my tits off until it finally arrived, I climbed to the top deck knowing no one usually sits their this time of night but to my surprise I was met with the likes of John Lydon.

He was scribbling away in a burgundy notebook but seemed to notice my presence.

"It's you!" he exclaimed,

"And it's you" I responded with a small smile, taking a seat across from him,

"Night out?" He questioned trying to make small talk,

"Not quite. Work" I hummed playing with the hem of my skirt,

"What'd you do?"

"I'm a waitress at the Stag, it's just on-"

"I know the one" he blurted, cutting me off, he faced forward but I could feel him side eyeing me, "I like your boots"
