All the cram students were huddled in the room, lights off, blinds closed, not daring to utter a word. Most all the students had already left; whether it be for the break or everything being canceled in light of the world-changing events.

More exorcists stood guard at the doors than they had been taught by. Most of the guards looked to be the arch knights and rapidly appointed Paladin, although their role was only temporary till Shura decided to return.

Alex and Axis sat in the concern with the sword behind both their backs. They ran their fingers over each other's hands taking notes of the creases and wrinkles of time.

Yamato sat alone under his chest, trying to suffocate the fear in his throat. Uta and Aoi sat closer to the door by the teachers' desk, exchanging notes and giggling ever so often.

Tatsuki was reading alongside Mio, each took care to fold each page over quietly as if to alter no one of their presence. Unlike all the times before this quiet was liveable, welcomed even. There was little to say, nothing really to do, so it was best to just breathe.

Take in the moment. Let the air fill and escape your lungs, let your eyes rest from hours upon hours of overworking.

In light of everything that occurred, having a demon king at their side was only the third most crazy thing both Alex and Axis endured. It was only a demon king.

Only a demon king.

Most humans only met a coal tar and on the rare occasion a hobgoblin. They aren't supposed to be so relaxed with the concept of light in arms reach. He was trapped and wouldn't be escaping any time soon, but just being in his percent should send shivers down their spine.

It should, but it didn't.

Rin was a far greater threat, and yet he rarely enforced that fear of demons. The one and only time he did was to sweep Axis into line and even then he was hardly even trying to be threatening.

A knock at the door sent the guards into action, pulling the border open to reveal Shura dressed in less than casual attire. Grey sweatpants, black sweatshirt, pink house shoes, and hair put up in a messy ponytail strolled into the room.

"You all are free to leave the classroom. Suguro, Miwa, Takara, Your guardians are waiting for you at the dorms," The mentioned names stood and filtered out the door, bringing their supplies with them.

Alex and Axis found themselves standing as well, waiting for Shura to notify them.

"Alex, your temporary guardian has been notified and left the decision up to you on whether or not you are staying or leaving,"

Alex took a breath in looking between Shura and Axis. "I... I want to go back home," She paused looking solely at Axis. "But I want to see him first,"

"Alright, but don't get your hopes up he was rather drowsy when I last saw him and he has changed a lot," Her eyes rolled over the two Nephilims standing by the wall.

"I have seen a lot of demons in my time. I'm sure whatever changes have occurred won't be overly shocking," Alex muttered stepping away from the plaster.

"Oh, I know you can handle it. I'm talking to the cry baby," Shura pointed to Axis with a grin.

"I have seen him turn into a cat, and create new dimensions, I think I can handle it," Axis jumped in, shoulders rising in a pout.

"Isn't he so cute when angry?" Shura taunted, sticking out her tongue.

"Not as cute when embraced," Alex giggled, watching Axis fluster up.

"Both of you are evil, you should feel bad," He hissed popping up his collar to hide in, and taking the sword from the ground.

By the point, they got to leave most of the exorcists had cleared out. They all looked cheerful and tired. Their confidence and joy seemed to mask that. Satans death was to cause joy but it wasn't like they did anything, it was Rin and his followers that did the heavy lifting. It was RIn and Rin alone who finally got rid of the wretched being.
