(2) First Day

(AN) Here we go first actual chapter! (Although this is technically titled chapter 2 😰)  Also most of this story will be written in Lucy POV!

  As the buss arrived at Fairy Tail college I was in shock. I DIDN'T REALIZE HOW BIG IT WAS.!!! I then gathered all my belongings and got off the buss. As I walked in a girl greeted me, she started to talk but of course I wasn't paying attention.

"Hello!" The kind voice said to me. "Oh I'm sorry, I got distracted! " I said nervously. The kind girl continued. "It's ok!" "I'm Mira by the way! "

I then introduced myself. "I'm Lucy!"  Does Mira work here or is she a student, I mean she looks really young. I just stared at here which was rude so I decided to ask her. " umm sorry but I'm confused, do you work here or are you a student?" "Both!" She replied with the same happy tone in her voice. I just stood their confused.

"Oh I'm sorry, let me explain!" She continues " Basically the faculty allows students to work 2 hour shifts each day of the week so that we can have the extra money!" I stood there trying to process the things that she said for a minute. " I see!" I said happily for what so ever reason. 

I totally forgot why I was here for a second, I needed to get the key to my dorm room! "Sorry but I completely forgot uhh, I came here to get the keys to my dorm room." I said interrupting the silence. "Oh yes of course how could I have forgotten to ask why you were here my apologies." Mira responded in a soft apologetic voice. She took a look at my papers as I waited silently.

"Room 328!" Again Mira said in her happy tone. I then started walking towards my new room following the map she gave me. Then my thoughts started to run wild. I wonder if my roommate will like me, or maybe they like their life here without a roommate and I'll ruin it for them. I then closed my eyes and shook my head. But of course because I wasn't paying attention I bumped into someone.

"OMG, I'm so sorry I didn't mean to bump into you!!" I said quickly. " I can tell your new and already bumping into me, this must be your lucky day." A cocky voice said as he helped me up. "So can I get your-" his voice got interrupted. "YOU THINK YOU CAN JUST RUN FROM ME HOT HEADED FREAK!!!!!" The new loud male voice came from a guy not far behind the guy I just bumped into.

"I told you I'm not in the mood for a fight you cold hearted freak." The guy in front of me said in a soft but cocky annoyed sounding voice. I finally got a grasp of the situation and looked my head up, as thoughts started to scram in my head. Hmm the hair he has is it pink or is it salmon colored. And the guy behind what dark hair but it has a blue tint to it, I never even knew these hair colors were a thing.

"Umm hey blondie?" The pink hair boy said. "I have a name you know, and it would be nice of you to ask before you start calling me blondie." I replied to his  comment of calling me blondie which I can say did come out a little mean. "Fine then, I'm Natsu and you are....?" Questioned the pink haired boy. "Lucy." I said to him. At least he won't call me blondie anymore.

"So blondie what room did you get?" The pink haired boy named Natsu asked. Hopefully not with him. "328." I told him. "I see thanks for the info blondie!" He said in a higher voice as he started to walk away. "I said not to call me blondie!" I said back in the same volume as he did. But then I realized I never told him not to call me blondie, all I told him was to learn my name before he did start calling me blondie. The raven haired boy shortly rushed after him.

I then started finding the way to my room again. What weird people, whatever I probably won't run into them anytime soon with how big this school is.  "I finally found it!" I said standing in front of the door grabbing the new key from my bag. I then opened the door to see a huge room. As I stepped in side I took off my shoes not knowing what the rules are, I didn't want to upset my roommate. I then started walking around in the big room, I saw a kitchen, couches in front of a tv, and two doors close by each other.

I saw that one door had a poster on the back of it. "Well this room must already be taken." I said to myself. I then opened the door to the other room that was empty (just a bed and what is usually in a bedroom model at a store). I then set my stuff down by the door of my now new room.

I then heard the front door open to the dorm room. I looked over to see a short girl with light blue hair. When she looked up to see me standing there her eyes widened. After a few seconds they went back to normal. "Oh I'm sorry that was rude, I'm levy your roommate!" She  said with joy. "I'm Lucy nice to meet you!" I said with me sticking my hand out to shake hers. As we stared at each other a person busted through the door, here to know break the awkward silence that was happening.

"LEVY!!!" The new person in the room shouted. "Did you meet the new girl!" The same person said but more quiet. Wait I know that voice.... It was Mira! I sighed to the fact that it wasn't some random person I didn't know. Mira then spotted me and ran over, I guess my roommate Levy didn't care if we has shoes on or not.

"Lucy how do like it here so far, is levy being mean to you, did you meet anyone else. TELL ME TELL ME!!!" "Mira give her a break can't you tell she didn't walk in here much before me and you." Levy said with a sigh. "It's ok, really!" I said with levy nodding to me as an ok.

(AN) Hopefully this was a good way to end the chapter, I just didn't want to add to much to this chapter for this is only Lucy's first day of school!
