(6) End of the Year

Time skip because I'm lazy and I don't really enjoy writing about their school life but I think this is more interesting (in my opinion).
Sorry for the late update I got held up with school work but I'm on break now so I should be able to update everyday!

The school year had already passed, and it was the end of the year. I've only know my friends for alomost a whole year now. As I was going to pe I got stopped. "Hey luce!" Natsu called as he was running up to me. "Hey natsu!" I replied with a small smile. "I can't believe it's already been like almost a year, it feels like I was only able to start teasing you yesterday." Natsu said with his cheeky smile that makes me blush.

As the classes passed it was time for lunch. Natsu, levy, and me walked to the lunch table. When we got their only Gajeel and Erza were there. But soon after everyone else arrived. With juvia holding tight onto gray, even though they weren't dating.

Why do I want that, but with who? Natsu, why does he come to my mind every time I see a couple? It can't be, do I like natsu? My face suddenly got bright red, almost matching Erza pretty scarlet hair. "Hey lu, what's got you so red?" Levy asked me. Me not really wanting to answer I still do, "nothing, I just suddenly got really hot!" Levy looks at me with a weird face. Great now I know I have to tell her later.

As natsu and gray fought at lunch like they usually do. Erza trys to stop them, as juvia keeps her tight grip on grays arm. I still don't know why I want what gray and juvia have with natsu? Even if I do like him, I should want to be dating him not clinging onto him. "I'm gonna go to the bathroom, I'll be right back!" I told the group as I quickly got up. When I got into the hall I got stopped. Wait who is that, I feel like I've seen him before. "Hey beautiful, I see your not with your dragon today?" The guy asked with a wink.

Laxus!! "Listen, I'm just trying to go to the bathroom." I tell him in a serious voice. "I'll tell you something, after you go to the bathroom you should come with me." Laxus told me with yet another wink. He continued, "or you could just come with me?"

The lunch table

"Lucy still isn't back yet it's almost been 10 minutes." Natsu said with a worried look. "Aww, you worried about your princess flame brain?" Gray says to tease natsu. "I agree with natsu, it has been a while." Levy says also worried. Everyone nods their heads in agreement.

Natsu gets up and starts to talk, "I'm gonna go look for her, k." Natsu then leaves and goes out to the hall.

"Laxus listen, I said I was going to the bathroom" I pause then continue raising my voice a little, "I never said I was gonna come with you, now can you please let go of me!" We stand their in silence for a few seconds. "Luce!" Natsu yells then continues with anger, "Laxus how many times do I gotta say this, leave luce alone!"

"And how many times do I gotta tell you, stop acting like she belongs to you!" Laxus says in the same tone natsu did. "Laxus let go of me, I have no interest in you!" I shout at him hoping he would let go. "Chill out princess, I just want to talk." Laxus says to me. "Then why can't we talk here, I don't want to go anywhere with you!" I shout at him once again.

"Hmm you got a temper, I like it." Laxus says to me as he lifts my chin with his thumb and leans twords my face. Why do I always get into these messes! I don't want to waste my first kiss on him. Just before his lips touch mine, his face gets punched to the side. "N- Natsu?" I say quietly.

"Didn't you hear her, she said she didn't want to be with you!" Natsu says in a defensive voice. "So you wanna fight, eh pinky?" Laxus says with a grin. Just as natsu was about to hit laxus again I stopped him. "Natsu let's go!" I tell him as I grab his hand and start walking away with him.

As we were walking away laxus whistles at me. Natsu turns around read to punch. "Ignore him natsu, let's go." I told natsu ignoring laxus.

As we walked back into the lunchroom, my hand still locked with natsu's. I then continue sit down. "Lu what happened, why did it take you so long!" Levy asks me full of worry. As I was about to talk natsu interrupts and starts explaining, "laxus was trying to hit on her again!" Natsu then paused and continued, "he tried to kiss her!"

Everyone sat there in shock that laxus tried to kiss me. "Was it on the lips?" Mira asks. I just nod, not really wanting to talk about it. I mean it wasn't the first time something like this has happened to me. I zone out trying to process what had just happened.

"Hey Luce, it's time to go." Natsu says in his caring voice. I just nod. "Hey I know, I'll just walk you to class!" Natsu says to me with he sweet grin on his face. Ya I definitely like natsu. "But I don't want you to be-" he cuts me off, "I'm not gonna be late Luce, just let me walk you to class." "Ok." I say looking down not wanting him to see my face turn red. "Get a room!" Gray shouts at us. "Oh shut it ice boy!" Natsu shouts back st gray.

Natsu walks me to class not letting go of my hand till we get there. "Well this is my stop, bye natsu!" I say to him with a smile. He just smiles back and waves at me. I then sat down in my seat. Welp last class of the day, and tomorrows the last day of the year. I can't believe the month flew by that fast. Luckily it's not my last year here.

The class was over, and while everyone else was leaving I was still there putting my stuff away. As I get to the door I see natsu there. "Hey Luce!" He says with a big smile. "Natsu, wht are you doing here?" I ask him, because he never meets me after class. "I just wanted to see you, that's all!" He tells me with yet another smile. He really thinks I can't tell he's lying. Whatever, I know the real reason anyways.

As he walks me to my dorm room he tells me something, "listen Luce, laxus uhh.. He's someone you don't want to be around ok?" He continues, " next time at least take levy, or someone with you ok?" I nod as I walk into my dorm room. "Hey luce!" Levy calls out to me with a smile. "Hey lev!" I say with a smile. I spent the rest of the night on my phone.

The next day came, me and levy walked to the lunchroom together like we did every morning now. We met with the group and just talked.

Then we all went to our classes. I walked with Erza sense we both had math together. "So you ok, I mean from yesterday?" Erza asked me. "Ya I'm fine, I was just kinda shocked." I answer Erza's question. We then continued to walk in silence.

My other class was again boring, because I have that class alone. Then lunch came. "Hey luce!" Natsu yells. Why did he say it so loud? "Hey natsu!" I sat in a normal voice. I then wave to the others as natsu starts talking to me.

"So Luce, we were all planning on going somewhere together when the summer starts. " He pauses then starts talking again, "Got any ideas?" "The beach?" I say in a questioning voice. "I do love the beach!" Juvia says bringing herself into the conversation.

"So that settles it!" Erza says happily. "We're going to the beach!" Erza says continuing her comment from before.

The day ends, the last day of my first year of college.
