(12) beach week pt3

(An) I'm honestly not really sure where this chapter is gonna go, I'm starting to run out of ideas. I might just end up doing a time skip somewhere soon.

I wake up to the sound of natsu snoring. "Hmp" I groan while rubbiny eyes. I check the time to see it's only 7am. Of course I had to be waken up early. I try to fall back asleep thinking about last night. Was me turning away from natsu a bad decision? I just didn't want another "mistake" happening. I sit up, as I've decided I can't fall back asleep.

When we got home everyone else was still gone, I wonder if they made it back okay? I got up and decided to take a shower. I went to the bathroom and started stripping my clothes off. I double checked to make sure I locked the door, I did. I then get in the shower and start washing my hair. When I got out it was 8.

To take up more time I decided to paint my nails and do my hair differently than I usually do. By the time I was done with all that it was 10. I got dressed and headed out of the bathroom to see natsu sitting up on the bed.

"Did the others come home last night?" He asks. "Uh, I don't know. I'll go knock on levys door to see." I tell him opening our door. I head over to levy and gajeels room and knock on the door. There was no answer so I opened the door just a little. I peaked in and saw levy and gajeel peacefully sleeping. I then head back over to my room.

"Ya they're here, just sleeping." I smile at natsu. "Why are you already dressed?" He asks looking into my eyes. "Because someones loud snoring woke me up." I turn my head away from him. "Hey I do not snore loud!" He says trying to defend himself. "And how would you know?" I say raising an eyebrow. "Because, uhh, I do!" He says turning away from me.

"Nice argument, must have took you a while to have come up with it." I say to him sarcastically. "Shut up!" He says lieing back down and turning away from me. I sit on the bed and look over to natsu. "Come on don't be like this, I was only joking around." I say with my hand oh his arm. "Hmp!" He pulls his arm away. "Fine be that way." I say as I get up and go towards the door. I look at him one last time before putting my hand on the doorknob.

"You're actually being this stubborn because I said you snore loud." I put my hand on my forehead. I walked back over to the bed. "I'm sorry for saying you snore loud natsu." I apologize to him. "You mean it?" He turns to me. "Yes I mean it." I say just wanting to get this over with. "K, I guess I accept your apology." He says rolling his eyes. I sigh.

"Now go get ready." I tell bin pointing to the bathroom. "Come with me?" Natsu says looking at me. "And why would I do that?" I say. "So you have someone to talk to." He looks at me. "Fine, come on let's go." I say getting up. Natsu follows behind me and we go in the bathroom. He starts brushing his teeth and washing his face.

I don't know if it's because we've been sleeping in the same bed for a few days now but I didn't even realize he was half naked. I look away and natsu looks at me with a confused look. "Something wrong?" He asks. "No, nothing." I say. He just shrugs his shoulders.

I wait in the bathroom while he gets dressed in the main room. He opens the bathroom door staring at me. "Your hairs different today." He says looking into my eyes. "Are we going somewhere special today?" He says starting to touch my hair. "Uh no I was just board so I decided to do something different." I say looking at his hand playing with the waves in my hair.

Natsu puts his hand down and starts to talk. "So wanna see-" he gets cut off when someone opens the door. "Hey, it's already 11 get out of here." Gray tells me and natsu. We both head out of the room and sit on the couch with everyone else. Natsu and the guys hang out by the kitchen, while I talk to the other girls.

Natsus POV

"I kinda need your guys help." I say to gray and gajeel. "Him asking us for help, that's a first." Gajeel says to gray. "So what help do you need?" Gray asks. 'You both are happy with Juvia and levy right?" I ask. "Ya, why're you asking." Gray says. "Well I mean I've been kinda looking at luce differently." I say quietly. "Shit, don't tell me he actually likes her." Gajeel says. "This is a first." Gray says right after gajeel.

"I mean I kinda assumed you guys were already dating due to how you were acting at the beginning of summer." Gray says. "Ya now that you mention it, they are acting really close." Gajeel adds. "I'm not supposed to say this but I mean what's the harm. Didn't you and lucy already kiss." Gajeel says. "What, how did you find out?" I ask. "Lucy told levy, and levy screamed about it to me." He continues.

"Ya but I mean it wasn't supposed to happen, at least not like that." I say. "Also levy was saying his much of a dick you are for telling Lucy that your kiss was a mistake." Gajeel adds on. "What the fuck natsu, you really told her it was a mistake." Gray says trying not to yell. "I mean what else was I supposed to say. Oh I realized after I accidentally kissed you I developed feelings but I don't know how to express them!" I say a little louder but quiet enough where the girls can't hear me.

"That's better then saying that your kiss was a fucking mistake." Gray says. "Especially since it was her first kiss to asshole!" Gajeel says. "Pause, why did you think we were dating after what levy told you?" I ask gajeel. "Because you two like to keep secrets." Gajeel replied. "Don't change the topic natsu, how do you think Lucy feels now. I mean any time you guys have a somewhat romantic interaction what do you think she's thinking about." Gray says to me staring at me fiercely.

"I don't know." I answer. "She's probably thinking: this is just gonna be another mistake or I shouldn't get close to him, it could go bad." Gray says. "Shit." I say under my breath. "So, what're you gonna do?" Gajeel asks me. "Fuck, I don't know. Make it up to her somehow." I say. "Everyone can be stupid natsu, your stupid is just more frequent though." Gray laughs.

Lucy's POV

I start walking over to natsu to ask him something hearing gray talk. "Everyone can be stupid natsu, your stupid is just more frequent though." Gray laughs. "Sorry am I interrupting something here." I say to the laughing guys. "Nope." Nastu says to me. "Anyways, last night did you get any pictures of the meteor shower?" I ask him. "Natsu!" I say loudly. "What?" He says. "Did you get any pictures of the meteor shower?" I say again. "Nah sorry." He says. "It's fine I didn't either." I smile a laugh.

This week isn't going by fast at all. I like being at the beach and all but nothing has happened yet. Whatever.

____________Later that day_____________

Everyone else went to their rooms already. The date night crew were out all night last night drinking. Levy and the others didn't wanna do anything today because of that. I mean for being at the beach and by a cute little shopping center we haven't really done anything.

I decided to just lie in bed trying to sleep. Though it was summer it was surprisingly cold that night. I start pulling the Sheets closer to me. "Hey Luce, stop hogging all the blankets!" Natsu says in a loud whisper. "But I'm cold!" I say. "Fine." Natsu says as he hugs me.

"Uhh natsu? What are you doing?" I questioned. "You said you were cold and I still want blankets to." He says holding me closer. I feel my face pinken. "Fine, just don't kill me in my sleep." I say. "Ya ya." He says putting his head on my shoulder.
