CHAPTER 18

I'm woken up by a veryyy pregnant sister Thando yes my older sister is pregnant and I'm happy for her like really happy "dad's here he's waiting for you , he told me to tell you to dress warm because it's cold outside and all I'm sleepy I will see you later" I sprint out of the bed and fix the room before I take a quick shower and sleep into a cosy tracksuit i don't bother eating because I've lost my appetite mom looks at me with sad eyes I don't know what she wants me to do at this point dad was the one taking time, but whatever lets get this done and dealt with.

I enter Dad's car and I'm feeling nervous all of a sudden I mean I am ready to hear the truth but something in me decides against but I have to do it , my life is a movie and trust me I don't enjoy this movie at all , hopefully after today I won't be hearing anymore stories, after what seems like forever we get to a beautiful place it's so breathtaking, we sit down and bask into a calming silence, "this is it my angel,I didn't see this coming at all , I wish I could lock you in cage and keep you away especially you and your sisters, because you guys are my pride and joy honestly speaking, this has honestly got to be the worst way to break the news to you as you know you were a special child from the day you were born, the day you were born it was raining heavily and you were crying none stop, it scared your mom but when we went to consult they said your soulmate was going through a lot ,we were scared at first because I didn't really now what they were talking about, apparently ages ago our forefathers had an agreement with the Ndaba forefathers and it didn't turn out well because the Ndaba forefathers were greedy, apparently my second female child would be the one to erase all the bad blood between the Cele's and Ndaba's , which means you're the light at the end of the tunnel, and the rainbow at the end of the day , you are going bring peace for both families. " I look at him perplexed because it sounds so unreal " the reason for the rift is still unknown till today , I see you got some beads maybe that will clarify everything for us, I love you my daughter and I don't want you to get hurt in the process " he takes a deep breath and takes both my hands in his and kisses them " do you love him this Ndaba boy ? " Trust my dad to call a grown ass man and a father of 2 a boy but it is what it is " yes baba I love him , he makes me happy not to forget the children they  make me feel complete. " He nods and smiles "if he makes you happy then I am happy , but let him know that I kick ass to those who hurt my angels" we break into a awful laughter he kisses my forehead and we drive back home , upon our arrival my mom looks happy to see us, dad hugs her but that hug doesn't look like a normal hug but we keep quiet, Thando comes out and dad looks excited to see her , they continue to talk and I head inside the house.
