Chapter 26: Fighting Part 2

A/N: So as you probably saw, I'm re-writing some parts of this story that I made when I was new to Wattpad. I was trying to make points like the whole hypnosis thing, it was that the members of the lov didn't actually want to be murderers at first but all for one went thru the trouble to do that so they're convinced it's right. Well I'm probably gonna get rid of most of that, so if you're reading this and have no clue what I'm talking about, that means I did it before you read it.

Anyways sorry for my past self's cringiness, enjoy this chapter.

Toga's pov:
The town was ready, and I was handed a list with some items, and we stepped into the area and our timer was started to divide teams.
"Okay so I'm thinking Todoroki, Ashido, Asui and Toga as Team A, and me, Kaminari, Aoyama and Midoriya as Team B." Ojiro shared.
"Switch out Asui with Kaminari." Todoroki said.
"Why?" He asked.
"You guys already have Midoriya. All might likes talking to this guy." He explained.
"Okay then so Kaminari, Todoroki, Ashido and Toga versus me, Asui, Aoyama and Midoriya." Ojiro corrected.
"Parfaite." Aoyama said.
"What?" Toga asked.

No one's pov:
Toga and Todoroki we're running searching for the last 2 items together.
"So Toga, how's...my brother been?" Todoroki stirred up a conversation. She looked at him with a look he couldn't quite describe but looked like a mixture of disappointment and confusion. The youngest Todoroki wasn't paying attention enough to notice though, for he was more focused on the question he asked.
"What do you mean?" She questioned.
"I never really got to speak to him so what's he like I guess." He clarified.
"Well he's usually stubborn but sometimes he acts like my big brother." She said.
"That's cool.
"Oh wait, look it's the book!" She shouted. She went to pick up the item and they kept running.

"Why the hell are they talking about me?" Dabi asked.
"Maybe your twin brother missed you." Shigaraki suggested.
"Yea maybe..wait, we're not twins." Dabi said.
"Wait, but aren't you're both in the same class." He said.
"Well Shoto skipped a grade as far as I know, and me and you are technically supposed to be in class 2A so he's 14 and I'm 16." Dabi explained.
"Your brother actually skipped 2 grades, but from what Endeavor said when he first enrolled Shoto, he taught him a lot at home so it didn't impact him too much." Eraserhead corrected.
"I'm surprised Endeavor gave him education and not just training." Dabi said. "Okay so he's 13." He concluded.
"Are there any more of you Todoroki kids?" Shigaraki asked.
"I have 2 other siblings, Fuyumi and Natsuo. They're both 15 and they're twins."
(I'm trying to make this work I didn't think of that when I started this story a year ago 😭)

"Did you just want to team up with me so I could tell you about Dabi?" She asked, frustrated.
"No, I just brought him up so we could have a conversation. Look at how many items we have."
They had found 3 in just a few minutes. Toga didn't even realize the other 2 they found after the notebook.
"When you're semi-distracted by a conversation but you're still on task, it makes your task easier. That doesn't apply if we're in a combat fight though." He explained.
"Oh, that's smart!" She said.
"We need to find at least 5 so if the other team has 4 we would win, since there are 9 objects." The half and half kid stated.
"What if our teammates found a few and we're searching while we already have 5?" Toga asked.
"We'll get a slightly better grade." He answered.
"Oh yea, we're getting graded on this. I forgot I have grades now." She shared.

10 minutes after the round started, Shoto and Himiko found the notebook, the baseball cap, the glasses, the book, and the jacket. Toga was wearing all the clothing parts they found and Shoto was carrying the items.
"Do these glasses have prescription? They hurt my head and it's sorta blurry!" She shared, taking them off.
"I'm not sure, you shouldn't put them on if they hurt your eyes." He said. They joined the group of others fighting and Toga got out a knife. She smiled widely in pure excitement and a few shivers were sent down some of the students on the opposite team.
"Who's gonna be the lucky person?" She asked.
There was a lot of chaos and fighting, and running away from Toga, but in the end she got Tsuyu Asui's quirk. She captured a few people with her tongue and stalled some people by toying with them and running around the place, while her teammates minus Todoroki went to go look for items.
