The Hike

Eyes are set on the beauty of this scenery

A mountain so tall that signifies glory

Eyes are looking at the mountain's top

Until they reach heights, they'll never stop

Climbers are ready to indulge on a journey

Their feet so nervous with the prizes so plenty

Their tools are fixed to take on the adventure

As the mountain stood still with all its grandeur

The path they may take may be so challenging

The obstacles they may face may be breath-taking

Through all odds, they will brave through hardships

Endure it with the help of good relationships

One might reach top alone; others, together

It might even take a century, lifetime, or forever

But remember, reaching the peak of the mountain

is but a task that gives you great loss and gain

Because the best moment is not at the top of its glory

But the entire experience of the cherished memory

With support and hard work, all these become reality

This prize is great but these moments are the totality
