A beautiful thought
A dream being sought
A lesson being taught
A wish to be caught
In this life where something huge always catches the eye
In this time where someone can be easily deceived by a lie
In this place where someday, hopes and flesh would die
In this world where somehow, you'll get by just by having a sigh
We always watch out for the prize and nothing else
We always keep an eye for those breaking their shells
We always hurry for our comical story's ending panel
We always thought of happy endings like fairy tales tell
A foolish thought
But it can be sought
Yet you need to be taught
That it must be caught
Can't we just enjoy the very precious moments we hold today?
Can't we dwell in the now, unbound by past and future, during our stay?
Can't we just jubilantly smile together and forget about this fray?
Hey, hey, can't we agree on at least these things? What do you say?
Yes, we must enjoy today but we must also work hard
Because it is also important to keep moving forward.
Learn from yesterday how to play your cards.
All of these so we can avoid stepping on deadly shards.
Deadly as it is, it still holds luster and beauty
Like failures as part of life, a building block of your entirety
If you fall, stand up; never look at yourself with pity.
Everyone's rooting for you and believing in your ability.
Maybe this is a foolish thought... but also beautiful.
Beautifully sought that I would rather be a fool.
A fool who wishes to learn so the mind can be full,
Full of lessons to catch these wishes so colorful
All of us are in a journey where we want to reach the goal.
And for this endeavor, we give our best. We give our all.
The finish line is looking for you; you want to answer its call.
You don't give up; it's not the end even after many times you fall.
But I wonder, who are we fighting against? Each other?
What are we fighting for? Riches? Fame? Power?
Or maybe, just a thought, could we finish it together?
Help each other. Bring smiles to one another.
Because even after you reach your destination, you recall your adventures.
These are memories of toil and glee, the sweet and precious encounters.
We often forget this fact as we are blinded by these temporary treasures.
I say, place true treasures in our hearts for these count as life's little wonders.
