Once A Summer Memory

If it isn't so blue, if it isn't so sunny

If it isn't so hot, if it isn't so windy

Without further ado, if it isn't uncanny

I'll wait not to introduce you something worthy

A worthy memory of this one summer

Forgotten through a deep, deep slumber

So let us delve one more time into its cheerfulness

One summer memory of pure happiness

We gaze upon the open sky

Reflecting the light in our eyes

Hoping this calm breeze wouldn't die

Never severing our heavenly ties

The sun shines with a soothing heat

The clouds aloof carried by the wind

The birds chirping with a melody sweet

The trees swayed by a summer fiend

The beach is full of people rejoicing

The sand touching the sole of my bare feet

The sea, the shore, the waters inviting

Who would've thought salty waters could be sweet?

Home sweet home, our family in bond

Come on in, the cooking is done

And thereafter, we go hand in hand

To make every moment last with fun

Summer sweet memories, I cannot count

Summer sweet memories, I cannot forget

Smiles and joyful tears no price can amount

Cut short, long lived summer, no one will regret

Yet there is a time these memories will be dead

A time which life will be naturally undone

And these sweet, joyful memories in one's head

Will be, and cannot be stopped... they will be gone
