Its length varies from one to another
A blink of an eye or maybe a forever
Some may easily lose their temper
Some may easily endure and suffer
While it takes courage to patiently wait
Takes strength to hold to something late
If it is for a cause that is noble and great
One may only feel love and never hate
Patience defines love in its stronghold
A person who has this can only be so bold
A being who can put his anger on hold
Will have his story be enthusiastically told
So don't lose faith and maintain the will
Don't lose hope; be firm and be still
When you're taking a slope, up or down the hill
Just patiently endure and enjoy life's thrill
